  1. I just hope all hell does not break lose on the forum if we lose to Wigan (which we might actually, decent side fighting off relegation). I'm quite happy with Europe already although of course CL would be a fantastic bonus, but not gonna be distraught if we don't get it. As long as we build gradually, our time will come.
  2. If you knock it in from 20 yards I don't care who it's against, and in a far inferior NUFC to this one. So your point is that Martins is better than Ba? Not surprised really
  3. I got a bad feeling that Shawcross is gonna go in hard with one of his customary assaults on HBA, let's just hope HBza will just ride the tackle and put him on his ass
  4. 5 wins in a row and still get this s***? I aint giving him s***. I just think it was wrong to go away from the sucsessfull 4-3-3, just to please Ba or something. We dont know his reasons. If it had not been for some Ben Arfa magic against Bolton, we would prolly have given away points there. When did we change the formation to please Ba? We started 4-3-3 v Bolton. I am not sure what your problem is, you just seem to want to have something to complain about as what Pardew said has nothing to do with what you are whinging about.... We played 4-4-2 for 90 minutes against Bolton mind. Only saw the highlights but looked like Ba was out wide til we went 4-4-2 when he went off so will take your word for that. My point stands, Pardew didnt change it to please Ba which is a laughable view. We all know Pardew likes to mix it up depending on the opposition. I'm with you on this. I don't know where the "Pardew is changing the formation just to suit Ba" is coming from and it becomes a joke when the same strawman is used as a stick against Ba. Yes he wasn't happy when he was taken off but he has clarified that he was unhappy at his own performance and in subsequent interviews clarified that he is happy to play on the left and for Cisse to continue scoring. Cisse pretty much said the same thing. But no, never mind what the players said, apparent some of us know better.
  5. Hans must be one of the few in the world with that weird understanding. "All in our hands" simply mean that it is all up to us, win all our games and there is nothing any other team can do to deny us our objective. With Tottenham being on the same points as us and having better goal difference, it is clearly not in our hands as we need to rely on them either dropping points or not winning as big as we do to such an extent that we can catch up on the goal difference. Gosh and I'm not even English!
  6. All our French players are underpaid but given commission when we get another Frenchie. It was HBA who got Cabaye and the cycle continues!
  7. This is daft but how is he related to us?

Dont mean to be crass, but the part I don't get is how is it that something like this can happen to professional footballers who are surrounded by the some of the best doctors and medical facilities. They have to go through rigorous health checkups before every transfers. Surely someone would have found some symptoms that would eventually lead to a heart attack. It points to a failure of an entire system of health checkups and governance.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

BEN ARFA - SEASON SO FAR {NEW} {NUFC_COMPILATION} puts the ref on his arse at 1.24 and 0.34 puts Enrique on his arse and 2.00 slow mo of his nutmeg on Richardson... Hatem Ben Arfa taking the p*ss 0.00 to 5.00 Cheers mate, the ref on his arse was freaking funny. It's like he didn't know which way to go to get out of the way and so just went "ah fuck it, I will just drop down onto my arse"!
  10. You'll fit in very well in this forum Welcome onboard

No way Messi has scored more freekicks than Ronaldo, check out the stats on soccernet

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Ok but we were able to see it so... Amazing vid, thanks! At which minute is it that he puts the ref on his arse? Can't find that part unless I'm seeing the wrong compilation
  14. Nah no way, it was only those who bought into this local boy bias that thought he was worth anywhere close to 35M. The difference between his form for us and how he is playing now can only point to the fact that he did well for us primarily because of the system we played, that he was limited in more ways than one (and those flaws are now being revealed when he expected to be more than just a target man) and at best was only a potential top notch striker. The more objective amongst us could see this and I myself said at that time that his market value was around the 20-25M mark

Messi is the better player but Ronaldo is the more well rounded. How many headers and freekicks have Messi scored? Runs away from thread before all hell breaks lose

    Harry Redknapp

Actually putting his cuntish behavior aside, how would most people rate VDV vs HBA? Would HBA get into their side?
  17. Any idea when the new kits are coming out? Gonna be HBA on the back for me

HE made the Bolton defence look like an absolute bunch of mugs (they actually had a decent game in fairness), the same as he made the Baggies defence look the same, and Enrique and so on, defences are s*** scared of him. This wasn't the first time he's done this and it wont be the last, if people want to keep calling it s*** defending then that's their prerogative. My worry is that it is becoming very obvious for defenders that the only way to stop him is to take him out completely like De Jong. That and the fact that he will be facing De Jong again in the next few weeks.
  19. The only person jumping on his back is Ba himself. The fans were singing his name today, the manager changed a succesful formation to give him more chances on goal (unbelievably imo) and he's still still sulking. Im suprised at him. 'Busting his ass for the team' - its not like hes been asked to play on the wing in a 442. Its a front 3 which rotates through-out the game. Cisse switches to the left loads of times during those game. Ba can play really well in a front three if he actually wants to, he should be relishing it. He's been asked to play in a position he can do really well in, as proven, there shouldnt be any gritted teeth. The manager went out of his way for him today and he disrespects him. Just grow up and play your game, because your a top quality player The part that we changed formation to give Ba more chances is pure speculation and actually contradicts your own view that he gets his fair share of chances in a rotation 3 forward system. He is just low on confidence and not happy with himself, no big deal. I don't see any signs of him being not happy with the team or our formation, in fact his tweet on Messi (i.e. Ben Arfa) being at SJP shows that he is in fact in good spirits and generally happy. Just need a break and start scoring again and he will be fine. No need for anyone to get on his back.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

At which point do we start worrying about losing him this summer?

    Hatem Ben Arfa

How does this goal compare to his goal against Blackburn?
  22. Really so Cabaye is confirmed out? You annoy me. Good, mission accomplished then!
  23. From the Swansea match report that said he was taken out due to ankle injury, surely small chance of recovering for Monday
