  1. Do we have any updates on our injuries? Colo, Guthrie, Cabaye and Ba all out?
  2. Couldn't quite a grip of formation for this game. We started with our usual 433 with Jonas in midfield along with Tiote and Cabaye? And when Raylor replaced Tiote, he went into centre midfield too or did we revert to 442 at some point of the game? When Gosling replaced Cabaye, did we really play with a midfield 3 of Gosling, Ferguson and Raylor? Remarkable that we held out with those 3 Plus how our injury status post Swansea. Seem like quite a few out for Bolton. Colo and Guthrie are out. Is Tiote and Ba out for a few weeks too? Thanks
  3. On soccernet, says substitution was because of ankle injury. How bad is it? Don't want to break up our front 3

Exactly lol if we want to be in the CL in the future we need to have a squad capable of it and besides Taylor has a history of injurie problems we cant rely on him being fit all year. Having Douglas, Colo and Taylor as your 3 top quality CB's and Williamson and Perch as your 4th and 5th choice will be ideal for us to be competitive in all competitions. Where is this Douglas rumours coming from? I don't even know who he is?
  5. I'm all for being optimistic especially given how we've played in the last 2 games but quite a few on here are underestimating how good Swansea is at home. They actually play good passing football too arguably better than Liverpool

This. Also, as an aside, I think it's now a realistic possibility that we could start next season with an entirely non-English xi No issues with me if that happens but unlikely unless we get a non English CB and RB/LB which I doubt

Not sure anyone could give a s*** if HBA murders England tbh. Yup, in fact if England is managed by slappy face, I'd probably celebrate

It was on 32 minutes if that helps. Thanks Mick, seen it now

    Danny Guthrie

How bad is his injury? Any news yet?

Any idea where I can see the part that he put Enrique on his ass? Watched the whole match yesterday but somehow missed it!

    Danny Guthrie

Any news on his injury yesterday? Useful squad player especially if we're gonna play 3 in the middle. Prefer him to Gosling anytime
  13. 5 10 yellow cards before automatic suspension??
  14. So he is on his 5th yellow card right? How many more before the automatic suspension kicks in?

    Alan Pardew

So is he an improvement over Hughton? Anybody wants out to whip out one of those record comparisons?
  16. It's all about pandering to the dominant audience. In Malaysia it might as well be the Liverpool FC TV Channel, right? Yup massive Liverpool following here, just like Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea....basically glory hunter supporters
  17. Don't know what post match show is being shown in UK but in Malaysia, it' all about how Liverpool failed and talking points were on how Reina should not have been red carded and Simpson's handball. Not a word about Cisse's brace and HBA's skills. Seriously are football pundits not allowed to speak/praise teams besides the "big six"? Disgusting!

Although I appreciate him tracking back, I still think we would be better off letting him loose to attack. He does not contribute much defensively but makes something happen every time he attacks.

He does not get the ball in Liverpool's half often enough, but when he does, there's a high chance of something special happening

Enrique's arguably the best defensive FB in Europe. He can lock-down a flank, against a ball carrier. HBA will have to drift inside, in that roaming role more often. As to whether Pards has the balls, against a better side, to follow through (and not start Obertan on the right) with it is another thing. I'd like to be pleasantly surprised. Best in Europe is beyond an exaggeration. He was very good defensively with us, but now his form has suffered. Besides even if your statement is remotely true, Enrique has yet to face HBA. Pardew permitting, we'll find out how good they both are!
  21. Though there seems to be a never ending debate of Santon's real position, why don't you see him as the replacement for Enrique? In fact we made almost no profit from the sell Enrique buy Santon deal.
  22. Titles are won by team. How many world player of the year has Xavi won? That surely is the epitome of individual achievement in football. And who determines that? Just look at the daft list of nominations every year, man. What a ludicrous thing to say. The source is no surprise, of course. Yes the entire list of nomination may be dodgy but to dismiss the winner (which includes players like Messi and your bum boy Brazilian Ronaldo by the way) as deserving just to suit your argument is as hypocritical as it gets. The source of such hypocrisy is not so much a surprise as being dead certain, everybody could tell without looking at the avatar.
  23. Yup and Ozil was better than both Xavi and Iniesta combined. Two can play this stupid game you wanna play
  24. Titles are won by team. How many world player of the year has Xavi won? That surely is the epitome of individual achievement in football. He'd have had one if he wasn't up against the player of our generation. All pointless speculation
