The amount of kneejerk reactions in this thread are hilarious. Abeid over Tiote AND Anita (who has suddenly been completely written off and thrown onto the scrapheap as an utter failure), Colback over anyone at all (he should be on the fucking bench). Revisionism is high after only two good performances. Don't gemme wrong, I want this kid to do well, but temper that enthusiasm a bit and hold a bit of objectivity.

For me it's just the association with Pardew and how he publicly compared Dummett to Haidara, calling the latter overly flashy, and how he prefers someone with graft. He epitomizes the Pardew mentality, but yes, he personally hasn't done much to be hated for. If we have somehow unearthed a CB in him, I'm happier than I've ever been with him.
