The boy said that when his neckchain fell to the ground, Mr Keane said: "Give it to me, I will get it fixed for you and you can get it back tomorrow." The footballer suggested he would get the chain welded - but the youth told him silver could not be welded. Mr Keane allegedly then smirked at the youth and said: "Oooh, it's silver, is it?" Mr Keane admits approaching the youth about an insult that was made to him but denies breaking the chain. He has been unable to explain the damage to the chain. ---- Fuckin' hell, what happened to the chain? What a cliffhanger this story is...

Nah. Tayls shits his pants each time Aguero or any pacey forward comes around.

Considering how easy it has been for teams like Southampton and even the flukey us to finish 5th or do well, I don't see this league THAT hard to crack. Surely not for winning the whole thing, but it definitely is a competitive league in comparison to Italy or Spain. Especially since Ferguson retired. If we had a smart owner we'd be in the top 7 easily.

He and Perez must be enjoying playing with kids.

Ugh, please don't tell Pardew.
-
He's back in NE for a wedding on Friday, anyway. How do you know all this?
-
Didn't Kieron Dyer say Shearer liked a bit of Phil Collins on the speakers?

That season, man. So much potential. So much to be built on to take us to the next step. All fucking washed away.
-
Barry Moat still alive? That guy trolled us more than anyone. Did he even have enough money to buy us? Or did Ashley simply quote him some outrageous amount?
-
I think junkhead acted in a fairly good, responsible manner. The shock of seeing Ashley and Llambezy cannot be underestimated, one's mind probably goes into overdrive as the scene with the blood flooding the hallways from the Shining starts playing over and over again. If he'd shown any animosity the two would've fucked off or called security on him or punched him, knowing them. Either one of those choices wouldn't have resulted in actually discussing Alan Pardew.
-
Wonder how he would do partnering Cisse up front. Reviere needs a rest anyway from all the goals he's been scoring and setting up.
-
Good point. I can't see Alan Pardew ever having someone like Okocha or Djorkaeff in his teams. Which puts him even lower than before in my estimation as a football manager

Bollocks.

Those Dennis Wise quotes man, wow. What an utter, utter cretin of a man. I thought we'd seen the last of the rat-faced bastard when he hung up his boots but then he has gone on to show the world what a cunt he truly is. Why even come out with such hooplicking quotes? Acting like he's still on the payroll. These are supposedly 'football men,' who don't give a flying fuck about supporters or the game, and seem to cozy up to big money first chance they get.
-
Convinced he's here for the long haul now. All these arbitrary weeks and months we place our faith in to see a sacking just end up disappointing. Nothing really makes sense anymore.

We've now gone from wanting Bruce to hating him again
-
One wonders why... even KK was rather lenient. I think Ashley and KK probably hate and know Ashley and his croneys so well that they develop a soft spot for whomever has to work for them. Of course, they seem to forget that Pards is one of them.

In the same place as you. SUPPORTING DA TEAM NOT DA REGIME. Or something. I don't even fucking know anymore, man. It's too confusing being a Newcastle fan right now.

Okay. So it looks like he's staying. How can we find a way now to get behind the team and find it in us to will them on to get enough points to keep us up this season? Does anyone truly believe we have the players and manager (lol!) to keep us up this season? I'm tired of wanting us to lose in the hope that he gets fired, only to realize it's not gonna happen. It's sucking the life out of my weekends. I can either stop following (it's impossible), or now understand that we're truly in the shit, gonna be relegated, and start looking at this season as a battle to stay up. My issue is that I despise everyone associated with the club, the players on the pitch and the fucking staff. I cannot support Obertan, Colback (fucking hate the sight of him), Colo (lost all respect), Dummett (why is he in the team still?), etc. List goes on. I'm keeping an eye on the Hull games to switch them on when / if HBA comes on, that's about the extent of my football watching these days.

SACK PARDEW? What in the hell do you mean?
-
Junkhead, thanks for sharing that, and for your restraint and courage. If this is where Ashley is, not even considering sacking Pardew despite the whole world asking him to do so, acting like he's hearing some preposterous notion for the very first time, I'm done watching games from now on. I was gonna catch the Swansea game tomorrow in the hope that we lose and he finally goes, but it seems this regime does not let you entertain any hope whatsoever.

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

I do wonder what the rest of Europe makes of the Premier League based on such games. My Italian friends here always bring up "Stoke!" whenever there are any arguments about which league is better. I can't imagine Spaniards watching that garbage willingly.
