Looks can be deceiving. Although he does resemble an extra from the Planet of the Apes. Okay. Has looked good so far, tbh, I don't know how you can judge his intelligence so early.

I dislike pardew as much as anyone but it's ridiculous to say he ruined his career. If he was that good how come not even a championship team is in for him!? Just another part of us being tight signing and playing players way below the level required for a club like Newcastle. Not a pop at bigirimana as there has been loads over the last 5 years or so Nope, agree entirely with the Pardewed assessment here. Like many, along with the best player we've had in over a decade, his career came to a halt under The King. If he can let HBA go to fucking Hull and leave the club with a whimper, what chance do people like Bigi have?

Gaël Bigirimana rejoins Coventry on a permanent basis

Sad, if he leaves this way.

Not having us to give them 4-6 points guaranteed could definitely hurt them. We must be the only team in the world too mentally weak to face fucking Sunderland. Who, in turn, play like it's a World Cup Final.

I don't really care what they do as long as they catch the broken leg.

Lol, I read that whole article and this oversight completely went over my head. Having lived on this side of the pond for the best part of 15 years now, I guess I'm getting ingrained in their bastardisation of the English language. Using chips for crisps, trunk for boot, sweater for jumper, having no concept of what a brolly is or having different meanings for fanny and suspenders. Not to mention the fact that my wife won't let me call football, football in front of my boys, I have to call it that awful term soccer because the "handoval" game is called football here and we can't have them teased at school !! It's 'math' that gets me. JUST ADD THE f***ing S ON MAN!!! Yep. But I think leaving out the 'h' from herb is much worse. "ERBS! WHO WANT SOME ERBZ!" Fuck's sake.

I'm down! Mid-September onwards I can resume having a social life again, so let's PM and get stuff sorted.

Sorry mate, but we've got some nolijibul football fans who've already decided he's championship shite, that too with a broken leg. You might have Rafa and a few easily pleased on here fooled but ye'll not this one past the healthy sceptics on here. Having read this and other posts from far more knowledgeable posters than I, I'm suddenly a little excited by this signing. Broken leg notwithstanding, of course.

Who the fuck are we signing? Who is Alan Judge?

I've reaffirmed my grip to reality once again.

Kids have started performing to fill out the squad when the likes of Altidore and giovinco are rested/Injured etc.. been a huge difference. Having giovinco to watch must be a delight I am jealous! Vancouver will never bring a player of that calibre in, tight wads. Tfc showing at the moment that adding a game changer like sebastian to a solid squad is paying off. We're actually afraid of losing him to Europe! The league will be infinitely poorer without him. He's incredible to watch.

My local team's doing fantastically well this season. Hoping to catch Bantz come to Toronto and grace my home air.

Aye, terrible attempt at a joke from me, admittedly. It's Monday morning here, I need a coffee to get into my groove. Doesn't help that I was reading articles about Sadiq Khan and how racists have been after him due to his opposition to Corbyn. Why am I even talking about this in the Gayle thread?
-
MLS-watching mate just told me this guy had a shocking debut last night
-
This defence of Mitro is bordering on the unhinged defence of Islamism undertaken by the uber-left.
-
I wanna marry Gayle.
-
WHOOOOOOOO! DWIGHT FUCKING GAYLE! DIAME sounds like Pogba, only better.
-
No Aarons or Perez and 3 DMs is worrisome. Where is the creativity? Only Ritchie to Gayle?
-
I don't know, man. That midfield. Sigh.

We're not settling for the fat bird who hung around though. I don't know how many times this needs to be said, but Gouffran played yesterday because we ran out of other options. Rafa's already indicated that he'll probably move on this month, he was picked yesterday to do a job and that's what he did. If Gouff started to teach Aarons a lesson, at least Aarons could've been brought on at half time. I would rather we play Aarons back into form instead of starting Gouff.

Gouffran is a beacon for mediocrity. It's settling for the fat bird who hung around you throughout high school instead of hitting the gym, reading books, developing a sense of humour and a sense of individuality to try getting the bird you really wanted. It's sitting in a job you don't hate but don't love either, for 8 hours a day, waiting until the day you can retire on your pension at 65, and let life pass you by. That's what it's like to see Gouffran starting for us in 2016.
