  1. This. I can't wait until the ignore feature. your prerogative, but it will be a sad day - for you - when you decide to only read posts by people who agree with you, especially when - as is the case with what I post - factual information backs up the "opinion" you are opposing. He didn't mention whether it was you or Ozzie (or both) he wanted to ignore, no need for the persecution complex!
  2. You don't think the club should fine him for needlessly getting himself sent off to the detriment of the team in that and the next three games?
  3. Team of lightweight bottlers too
  4. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2009/02/23/ryan-taylor-hails-mighty-newcastle-united-fans-72703-22989076/ It was good where I was (top corner, where the away fans used to sit). Everton fans were surprisingly quiet given decent numbers, they sat for 90% of the match and the first time they made themselves heard was when the red card was shown.
  5. Thought he was excellent yesterday, up there with Bassong for MOTM. Got a lot of deserved praise from the crowd too.
  6. Just been on the phone to my dad about him. Telling me about the "If Suddick's off to Blackpool so are we" chant, moved at a similar time to Green didn't he? no mate, he moved to Blackpool in 1966 or 1967. Tony Green signed for Newcastle in 1971, with Keith Dyson and cash going to Blackpool. Cheers, figured my dad was wrong as he admits he pretty much missed Green at Newcastle, yet was there for the fairs cup.... old bloke syndrome tbh Seemed to thing Suddick was a real fans favourite despite not being the best player. Sad news anyway, 64 is no age really.

  8. ermmm what? one of the worst imo. Up there with the best imo. Good news he's not sacked.
  9. Consider us half-won then because Cahill is suspended That's a quarter won, actually.
  10. Make the most of it Sir Bobby. Have a great day.
  11. Beye brings the rest of the back four up a level imo. He marshalls them, he's an outlet because he's so good on the ball and he'll pop up and do someone else's job if they get caught, usually with a ridiculously good tackle. Class act. Absolutely. We look a much better team when he's playing.

    Viduka on his way

I reckon Oba could work quite well with Loven from the little I've seen of him. Huge amount of pace, raw excitement from Oba and slightly more intelligent running from Loverlover. Hopefully (unlikely) that's what we'll see on sunday.
  13. I agree with Dave, if I had to play him anywhere it would be upfront. His only decent game for us came there (Arsenal h), if we could persuade him to kick the fuck out of some defenders it might help a bit. He's been nothing but useless for us. Rose tinted Nicky Butt tinted spectacles from many.
  14. I think people have forgotten just how shit Smith was last season. No other explanation for these poll results (and I think Butt is utter toss).

    Viduka on his way

Honestly reckon he could have been one of the best in the world if he had the desire a few years ago. Sublime talent. Was superb in the 433 at the back end of last season, shame that run of about 8 games is pretty much all we ever got out of him (Wham at home last season too).
  16. Honestly that is nonsense. The man is just trying to win a penalty for his team, the way most players of every nationality and football culture attempt to. I don't think he should have to alter his game because Martin Taylor tried to seperate his foot from his leg. Martin Taylor didn't try to do anything of the fucking sort.

    Lies and half truths

Does that take into account player trading?
