I really don't understand the blue on the home top man, if it was just a trim like the old brown ale one it might look decent, but why put them through the stripes as if it's one of the clubs colours? If the Wonga box is blue too then you know it was just to make it look better, which is ridiculous. The away tops are complete trash too. It's going to be plain insulting charging fans £40 for one of those.

We've had a new kit maker and two new sponsors in that time though which might be the reason for some of that? I agree though, it should be every two years.

I have that one and it's actually one of my favourite tops of ours, but the problem with this is the random lines going through the black and white stripes and the big patch.

If the blue shit wasn't there and the Wonga box is black with white writing, it would look really well. But you know the designers just put blue lines all over the top to make the blue Wonga sponsor fit in better.

Every single decision made on the field and every single player picked on the team is going to be put under the microscope in the remaining games until we're safe. If he fucks up again and we lose this weekend because of stupidity then this place will be crazy.

We're talking about Wigan catching us, which means probably catching them as well if they only got a point.

Will they though? A cup final or even a cup win would be lovely, but is that more important than survival? They've only ever been in one major cup final and that was the League Cup, which isn't really that prestigious and they didn't even win that final either. This is their chance for the first proper piece of silverware in their history. If Newcastle had no major trophies would you take one now if it mean't going down? You could always come straight back up.

It's never happening. This is the only chance of winning something meaningful for Wigan, their players and possibly Martinez. I wouldn't be surprised if the lot would take winning that cup over staying in the league.

Wigan will surely be resting key players against Swansea too with the final a few days later? There's no way they can go full strength three times in the space of a week?

If that happens even a win against QPR probably won't even be enough. You just know Wigan are winning that Villa game. The writing is on the wall for their final two games, defeat at Arsenal and 3 points against Villa. It's all about WBA and Swansea in the next 7 days and a bit.

WBA might be as well given that they're pretty much finishing 8th.

I think Arsenal will still be fighting for the top 4 when Wigan go there, I just can't see them getting anything there.

Wigan would need to win 3 of their last 4 to send us down on 40 points.

Maybe Ashley and co will push the button now that we're down to 17th.
