No reason why the desire to go back home could develop at any time. Could be any number of reasons why he suddenly wants to move closer to home. Its just speculation I've heard from Arsenal fans though, may not be the case at all.

There was talk of Tierney being home sick so I could honestly see him going back to Celtic. If that is the case we'd have been perfect for him to stay in the PL and get closer to home.

I don’t think Spurs and Chelsea will make it and thought we might drop off a bit with the extra games, but still finish 5th. Had Man Utd fluking their way to 4th. Based on the start of the season though I could see us being top 4 again no bother.

Aye just did a bit of reading about it there. So its determined solely on what happens this season rather than any historic success. I could see Villa, Liverpool and City winning all 3 competitions or at least getting very far into them, with ourselves and everyone else from England at least getting out of our group stages. The EPL probably has the best chance of the 5th spot but nothings guaranteed.

The thing I don’t get about Kane and the top goalscorer record is that records are made to be broken. If Kane stays and breaks it then Shearer only had it about 20 years. What’s the point in Kane staying for it and living to see someone break it, no one cares who is 2nd on the list. It’s all about trophies, they last forever. Absolutely laughable that Chelsea can do this continuously yet we have to sell players before we can buy, and still have to prioritise positions rather than fill the gaps in the team as we please. Which club is in the Champions League and which finished 12th again?
