I know it’s 99.99% absolute bullshit!! You might not believe me but I was about to post yesterday and say I wouldn’t mind us trying to offer 70-80m for Arda Guler, even if there’s next to no chance of it happening, or him agreeing Felt like a ridiculous post so I skipped it. Yeah this is bullahit but how ironic that it showed up today. I would wank myself into outer space if it happened. (Not sure why I am even typing this)

We might not be THAT broke. New DoF just come in, which kind of means a reset regarding targets. This along with the club aiming for proper genuine quality targets that are either difficult to get done or might not even be available at this very time. They have repeatedly been talking about having to get the RIGHT players in, that they can’t afford to make too many mistakes in the market if we are to catch up with the others that possess very different resources. My guess is that we are keeping our cards close to our chest and play it out calmly, without rushing anything and making risky deals. No I don’t think we have ridiculous amounts to spend but I’m confident that we have enough for two relatively big signings and a “cheap” one or two. I’m anxious and frustrated, but let’s wait and see. We might not even be after any of the linked names. Who knows wtf is going on in the background. Twitter and so called journalists know fuck all, that’s for sure (my guess regarding 99%). Also know the club has said that their transfer plans won’t change too much because of a new DoF. But I don’t believe that. PM once he signed might have made some demands himself. For present and the future.

No surprises regarding Hall. Said it a while back that on the ball he’s easily top 3 in our squad.

I would like him a lot too. His versatility would be great to have. Along with his technical abilities. But no links at all really apart from X bullshit unfortunately. (Afaik)

Nice goal really. Very calm and composed. With his pace he will cause all sorts of trouble. Even quick and good defenders will find it hard against him I reckon.

Can’t say I’ve seen him a lot at all. Having said that we don’t need 11 grafters. If a player is good enough and offers something different of high quality then it might even be good for us to offer some variety and balance. A more creative RW would be my pick. A player that gives us another dimension and variety is what I want, even if at the cost of missing out on a bit of “graft”. Not that I want a super lazy player with poor attitude.

Why do folks even bother Froggy is a decent poster at times (sometimes…) But the rest you can ignore. Don’t waste your energy. Froggy knows when he has genuine weight behind his talk, at times..

I don’t see a lot of whinging? I might have missed it if so. What I mostly see is people craving for new signings, excitement and content to watch. More about the lack of excitement than criticism about it imo. At least how I see it and feel. Apart from Twitter the shithole…

I think the point is “real” signings. Even Howe himself doesn’t see it as we’ve done “a lot” or any proper transfers yet that kind of count. They obviously count but the bigger picture is that we haven’t really done much yet. Hall was more or less done last season and Kelly on a free plus one Gak for the squad and one oldie to make up numbers?

Definitely to some extent. Having said that I think we’ve been quite “slow” in earlier windows. We don’t usually get any deals done early in the windows. (From the top of my head/overall feeling)
