Would have liked to watch Arse -Spurs tonight, but that obviously won’t happen. Really hope that it’s a Spurs win or at least a draw. I’m not ruling us out catching and finishing above Arsenal. Would be an amazing bonus. Would be nice to see the wheels coming off more nonetheless.

No chance FB go for anything over 15m. If we can get say 15m or close to I think I would accept. We might get a couple of extra million in the summer or further ahead, but if it helps us to bring in a new player now then I still think it’s worth it. Not that I see them going up to 15m.

Not sure who said it, might have been that Borson guy or someone similar. Think he said that Spurs new stadium costs them an extra 25m/year, but the new stadium itself and all the commercial deals and such resulted in their revenue going up by a 100m/year because of it.

Using the word hate is a bit strong like. I just think that quite a few don’t rate him highly meanwhile some do. He isn’t a player that takes us forward, we won’t evolve by signing him. He’s a decent player and the perfect fit for Forest who are mainly about counters and transitions. In general play he doesn’t offer very much. He’s good I straight lines using his pace trying to make things happen. For me it’s the same reason I don’t think Barnes was the right signing to make as I’ve never thought he’s good enough in general play to play for a top club. Amazing finisher no doubt. I said before last season that I think we really need more technical ability going forward, to evolve properly. To get better in general play and controlling games more effortlessly with the obvious quality improvements that comes with that as well of course. Tonali alone makes a massive difference already, and Hall too. We also have Botman back who will add to this even further. Im sure Elanga will get better but he isn’t suddenly going to evolve into a totally different player when it comes to his profile of player.

10-15 otherwise we might as well keep him and sell him for that or more in the summer. 6m now that is the rumoured bid doesn’t really help us much now.

I still maintain that Elanga isn’t good enough for us, never mind for 50m or whatever it was rumoured to be. I don’t think we’ve even bid for him tbh. In a team that is almost purely about transitions and exploiting space and going in straight lines then yeah he’s a very good fit. In general play otherwise he doesn’t have much to his game, and never has. He’s not an awful player, but to where we wanna go we need more than he offers. I’d rather have Murphy than spending big money on Elanga.

Personally I want us to go for the best younger players around. The likes of Dibling and Baturina and whatever young CB and striker. For goalkeeper I would prefer someone around say 23 or so. Like that Chevalier from Lille for example who I’ve read great stuff about. The GK in particular I can’t say that I’ve seen him but a a keeper of similar profile at least. Players that have massive potential but haven’t quite had their proper breakthrough yet even though it’s not too far away from happening either. Players that are already very good but can still grow levels with the club. They have to have high technical ability.

Yeah he is not shit. I still think there’s more to come from him even though he is very unlikely to be top quality.

If it helps us getting one player over the line then yea please. Preferably a RW, and if not that then a RCB. Don’t see it happening though.
