If he gets back to his best then he will replace Joelinton. Just to add, it’s a squad game and rotation is needed as well as different players for different games and so on. Hopefully this gamble pays off and he stays injury free. Same with Joelinton. Good to have options. I guess “replace isn’t the right word”.

Of course it’s the same for any player, anything can happen. But I’d say it’s likely that Willock gets injured more often than Bruno for example.

I’m all for signing Ramsey. But you can’t just know for sure about a players fitness going forward. A scan or whatever tests won’t prove that he won’t be injured a lot in the future.

Hopefully it happens. Very good player. A bit of a gamble but probably worth it if it goes as we hope.

Personally I think we should be looking at a CM purple. One that can play with Bruno and Sandro consistently. There will be rotation needed and Joelintons fitness these days is questionable. Probably not happening but I’d like a purple as well as someone young and different like El-Kebab. Or at least two younger ones.

That was for strikers though. Probably the most difficult position to sort out. We got Ramsdale on loan and a relatively “cheap” CB, so I kind of thought we would go big on a CM for example. Not saying that we should spend for the sake of it. Still time I guess, but nothing is pointing towards us having a genuinely ambitious window.

He is better. His fitness might not be good enough/reliable though. That’s my concern.

I’d be ok with him if we get two. Good player but I prefer reliable players. More importantly, we need reliable players.

Hopefully we will have to wait 3-4 years.
