I don’t think its gonna take long before Ramsey is considered as a choice ahead of Joelinton for most games. Before anyone goes off about it, it’s not about disrespecting Big Joe. I love him. It’s just that Ramsey is a better footballer when fit.

Bench should be looking quite strong for this game as well (hopefully).

With his attributes and different set of qualities I can see him taking our midfield to another level. If he stays fit it won’t be too long. Not only is he athletic but he’s got great balance and is very good on the ball. His movement and ability to find space will provide more variety and depth in our play.

Wanted more from Barnes, Elanga and Gordon. Quite disappointing all of them today.

Our forwards were quite wank overall. Would have taken a point beforehand. We still lack technically ability and control when in possession. Very good off the ball.

I was saying at the time “Elanga put it low put it low”. Unfortunately a pretty comfy save at that height.

Some sloppy technical errors up front but otherwise a very good half overall.

I can see our front three being dangerous if allowed space. I can also see them struggling to keep hold of the ball. Hopefully we don’t lose possession too easily too often in the last third.
