We’re just not very good at all if there ain’t a lot of transitions in the game overall. Not too surprising when you consider the players we’ve signed.

We had players worth close to 200m on the bench for this. Easy to talk about PSR and all that.

Like I’ve said a million times before, Willock really doesn’t offer much if there’s not much transitional play.

Would really like to see Tonali with Willock and Bruno play a few games. It will happen sooner or later. Happy with that lineup and the options from the bench look very good.

The bench will look very strong today.

Im not saying that we won’t manage “fine” despite no early goal. I just think it will be a much tighter game/result than if we manage a very early goal. I can see them crumbling and us scoring quite a few if we break the deadlock early on.

It’s all about if we can get an early goal or not. That will make a massive impact on the end result numbers wise imo. If we struggle to score in the first 30 minutes or so it will be very tight. If we score within say 10 minutes then they will crumble imo.

When the coverage starts I assume they will be talking about Slot and Amorim 99% if the time? Asscunts!

I obviously hopes he does amazing when he eventually plays. Having said that, get rid! No new contract no matter what happens this season.

Not sure Howe would like Cherki. Personally I would absolutely love it. Ridiculously talented and enjoyable to watch. Has end product too and is so creative. Would free up space so often for the other players such as Isak to name one. Could also play between Isak and say Tonali and Bruno and offer something we currently don’t have. I don’t think every player has to be extremely strong defensively.

For all potential proven expensive “star” signings nothing beats signing ridiculously talented young players that grow into stars with the club imo. Much more satisfying than for example buying the likes of Mbeumo for 60m or so. Or at least players that aren’t too well known within the league.
