There’s no need for us to consider opening any doors. If someone wants him then make a genuine proper bid or fuck off. Absolutely sick of the talk from media/social platforms. I’ve been staying away entirely from it now because they talk so much utter nonsense and think as if we have to give him away. Low level rats all of them.

Isak is only one player. Team and club is much more important. It’s all about what we do in general when it comes to replacing him and most importantly how we strengthen elsewhere. I have massive belief in Howe and the current players and what we still can do even without Isak. We just need to give the players and Howe some extra help and provide some quality and depth and we will be just fine. My main concern is more about getting the right deals in, and in big enough numbers. IF we can get Wissa in to begin with and add a top quality CM and CB plus a possible Isak replacement if he leaves then I’m certain we will do well. Let’s not forget that Howe will fine tune even more out our current squad. The players don’t suddenly get worse. Just get the fucking players in and we move on. We have players like Botman coming back properly (hopefully) and Hall who missed a lot last season. Meanwhile we both need quality and depth (obvious reasons), signing tons of new players to go straight in doesn’t necessarily mean we are a lot better in an instant.

I don’t have too much to say on Samu as I’ve barely seen him. I’m not too bothered about who we bring in. I’d like Wissa as I know he has natural finishing ability and instincts. We will create chances so I’m not worried at all. He is underrated. I assure you that if he was slightly younger and say Brazilian or Dutch or whatever then he would be more respected and higher rated. Can’t convince me otherwise. Aye aye, but it doesn’t make him a lesser player now or in the near future. I’ve said it before, that we can’t get a striker as good as Isak, and we don’t need to. If we get one that is 20% “less” but we strengthen properly in other areas and improve the starting 11/squad then we can compensate and be another say 30% better off over a season. I’ve seen Isak since he was a kid. There’s absolutely no denying that he has developed into an elite player. At his very very best last season he was absolutely unplayable at times. Having said that, let’s also not forget that in quite large parts during the last couple of seasons he has either been injured or looked unfit when playing. There’s been plenty of games where he hasn’t looked elite or his form being anywhere near his best. Yes a player like Wissa for example doesn’t have a ceiling as high, no doubts here. But you also cannot underestimate the reliability of a player that looks fit for most of the season. I’m also aware that every player can have a drop of form but with Isak it’s not just about that.

Yes. He sits and waits until everyone else falls asleep. No one can beat him. Just look at his eyes. Nah I don’t want him.

Don’t think Osula has the composure to be a surgeon. -
Yep! What man would wear a skirt…

David Noncestain. Regarding Samu, he has a lot of good attributes but when it comes to technical ability he makes Lascelles look like Berbatov.

Wouldn’t be disappointed at all if Romano, Crook and Jacobs went tandem biking and down a fucking cliff. Obviously care about animals so hopefully they don’t land on some ducks.
-
Not seen very much. But I mentioned him on here before. Really like the few matches I’ve seen him play. Great technicallly as well.
-
Don’t know. Haven’t seen it that much myself. Have you?
-
I know, but if possible when/if they get a replacement. Either way, we can’t fuck about and not get a CM and CB in at least. We can’t wait until we get a striker in.
-
Yeah could happen. I mentioned the same thing in a post earlier that it will be more difficult doing these deals now. But we have to do something and try, even if it means overpaying. As long as it’s quality. Don’t want us to overpay for strikers as there aren’t that many options, never mind top quality. Only ourselves to blame really.
-
No player will be able to replace Isak. Get Wissa in asap and go fucking ambitious on a CM and CB to begin with. I’m confident that Wissa would score lots of goals for us. Imo he’d be more than a Wilson replacement. Any other striker we try for will have us rinsed, especially when you consider quality to cost. Keep Isak to whatever he feels like.
-
Our CM is very strong, so I would have loved to see us sign another top CM from a position of strength. Think this will be more difficult now compared to earlier in the window. Would love the same when it comes to a CB. We cannot replace Isak like for like, but what we could do is to gain strength in other areas to compensate for him. For example getting Wissa and a unproven youngster from a top club and then go again for the best striker possible next summer. Let Isak put ikea furniture together at the office if he refuses to play.
-
Suds is supposed to be a mathematical genius isn’t he? He should tell the people in charge how many days there’s left before the window closes.
-
I can understand the difficulties of getting a quality striker (to some degree) but I find it absolutely astonishing that we haven’t managed to get a CM or CB in yet. Had we got those two in already then there would at least be some time left to get another couple of deals in. I know there’s still time left but I’d be shocked if get enough bodies in.

It should be everyone’s opinion.
