I'm hoping that might work in our favour. We seem to play better when we know we are in for a tough game, hopefully we'll be less sloppy as a result.

Not going to lie, I'm a bit pissed off he refuses to score a hat trick.

It was more about our game than theirs. I gave them props early on for how they set about us, knocked the ball around really well too. But we just looked very disjointed and confused, we were barely at the races in the first half.

Would be disappointed not to finish above Man U from here mind, but they still have a more balanced squad to choose from.

Nice to see him crack one in. He might be important to see us over the line into Europe.

Agree, there's very little interplay between the three central midfielders, Anderson and Longstaff seem to be playing in different parts of the pitch when he's got the ball.

He's been anonymous so far which is a surprise. Normally he wants to be involved in everything. Looks like Bruno is playing in that central area by himself at times, and he's not been at his best either. But I think that's because he's getting isolated.

Tbh I'm not sure what we've been doing on the training pitch. We look totally disjointed and the players don't seem to understand their roles at all here. Sheffield look far better organised as far as putting moves together.

I actually felt more confident of winning this match when we were 1-0 down after 5 mins.

Murphy has been shocking on the right hand side.

There does look like there's plenty of goals available for us assuming we can find some composure in the final third.

Probably gave Sheffield a blueprint for how to play against us.

In the build up for the Longstaff chance, Murphy had the ball in a really dangerous position but he went for the safe option. He should be looking to kill this lot, right now their attackers look far more aggressive.

Longstaff needs to do better there.

They look very bright and up for it.

Most of them in the last 3 months as well but I was trying to be kind.

We know one thing, there's not many players in our squad who can dance through a press in our team like Bruno. When we come up against a team pressing us, our lack of technique in the lesser players becomes all too apparent. Bruno's one of the last players I'd want to lose just for that reason.

It's fine for me since I hate both teams equally. Would probably have preferred a Liverpool win given we are competing directly with West Ham but a draw will do.
