  1. Why isn't he criticizing the real s*** at the club? Or better still just dropping them? Who can he drop them for? you cant honestly tell me that Xisco wouldn't have done a better job than Ameobi on Sunday, no matter how off the pace he is. Over the course the season N'zogbia was generally benched behind Duff and when Barton was fit, Butt kept his place ahead of Guthrie. Baffling tbh Kinnear played Ameobi even when he wasn't 100% fit. I'm beginning to believe the rumour that if Xisco makes another first team appearance we have to pay a sum of money. Either that or he is an abysmal player in training. When Smith is back, we won't hear of Xisco ever again tbh. Aye well I think Xisco is out of the equation for sure. Maybe Lua Lua could be given a run out instead of Duff but to throw him straight into the derby would be a bit crazy imo. Why has Xisco been out of the equation so much though? In his brief appearances he's genereally had a few attempts on goal, even in the one game Joe was forced to start him he cracked one shot on the half volley that could easily have flew into the net.

    Ryan Taylor

The fact that this is even being discussed as Ryan v Enrique is madness tbh. Enrique whatever his faults, didn't hide and took the fight to the mackems. Ryan is the January signing I'm actually quite excited about. He's young, got a good right foot and offers genuine competition to Beye at right back. Both should be in the team against WBA.

    Interesting read

Very genuine article that. I liked the recognition that Keegan is sometimes overlooked as a Liverpool hero because he went on to achieve success at other clubs afterwards.
  4. If Kinnnear had the balls to speak about his favourites the same way he does about the easy targets like Xisco and Enrique I'd have some respect for him. Shay wanted out hasn't been shy to criticise the club, yet JK was kissing his arse even when Given was motoring down the M62 to Manchester, but he had plenty to say about "Insomnia". Kinnear reminds me of Roeder in that respect, tip-toeing around the senior pros and taking it out on the younger guys.
  5. I agree. even if we are making genuine attempts to sign players, this need to raise money first before making any moves is going to kill most deals before they get off the ground.
  6. I'm sure that would be breaking the contract and if we did that the players could become free agents, at a guess. If things are as bad as they seem, and we havent a bean to our name, then drastic measures are called for. Like stopping all this boycott palaver that people think is helping the club by hurting Ashley. No, its' hurting the club. /Sorry Robster, not aimed at you, just tried randy bollocks. fyp. Fair enough, everything once as they say. http://mcb.berkeley.edu/labs/heald/Hall%20of%20Fame/images/delicious_JPG.jpg Delicious! she's giving good head
  7. I see Taylor's in his favourite position on the goal line.
  8. He'll have a hard job scoring goals from the bench. With the other strikers all returning soon he won't be starting many matches after tomorrow.
  9. An Enrique song would be great. Would do wonders for his confidence and at the same time let him know if he puts the graft in he is appreciated - by the fans if not the dolt of a manager.

    Small club traits

fans that get annoyed and flood the boards when their players/managers leave their two bob club and come here.
  11. Or rather, he cared so much that he left. A player isn't a fan, he's an employee of the club. Do you expect blind loyalty from other employees? Fact is, the club isn't a great place to work anymore. The football is poor, and the players have no idea what the plans for the club are, if there's any kind of improvement in sight, and their "boss" obviously makes things up on the spot whenever he's asked a question. Of course Given was fed up and wanted to leave: he was among the few who knew he could do much, much better. No one's blaming him for wanting to leave but he hasn't got anything to complain about because he was allowed to go. If the club wanted to be proper cunts they could easily have said you signed a lucrative contract now honour it. Shay's always looked out for himself above the club regardless of who the owner was. He demanded to be no 1 keeper or he was off under Bobby Robson when Harper was doing well remember? Yet people say Zog was a moaner when he wasn't first choice left winger.
  12. Cheers. Unfortunately like I said earlier the only way out of this is a new owner rich enough to sink a boatload of cash into the club. A supporters group can't provide a solution but if they can lose the anti-Ashley focus, they can definitely start requesting better communication if nothing else. Like I said in another thread it doesn't even need a new owner, it's needs an effort by everyone to enourage a new local partner to join Ashley. It's what he wanted to provide the funds for transfers while he sorts the horrible debt. He was searching for one before the last set of protests which kinda put off anyone wanting to join him on the board. Good point, I suppose the issue for any partner local or otherwise would be whether they would be prepared to be minority shareholders.

  14. If Oba starts we have every chance of of winning this. We really need the midfield to fire for this one. Without Jonas alot will be expected from the three midfielders who will support the attack, Lovenkrands/Ryan, Nolan and Duff. If they deliver we will win.
  15. His answers were vague seems pretty pissed off about something. The bit where he says 'I think the club wanted the money in the end' speaks volumes imo. I wanted the money as well once I knew he wanted out. It's never great losing good players but if they don't want to be here it's unhealthy for squad morale.
  16. Don't forget to offer £2million for Lampard then switch to Kenwyn Jones on the final day first Joe. You fat pleb.
  17. He can't relate to the foreign players that much is obvious, not surprising since he's frrom an age where English clubs were banned from Europe and Wimbledon thrived in a low quality competion. I only hope that Ashley values his money because Kinnear is devaluing players like Xisco and Enrique and more will go the same way.
  18. Given wanted out because he wanted to join a club going places which I can understand, but he should have some class and keep his mouth shut. It's not like he was second choice like N'Zogbia was, he was idolised and respected. The club didn't have to agree to sell him, he was on a long contract and well paid.
  19. Keegan was an idealist and that's what made him fit this club. I still remember last season when it looked like we might be relegated Keegan went back to his principles and went on the attack with the 4-3-3 against Birmingham. If Ashley had any sense above his loyalty to a bunch of toadying mates he'd get Keegan back at the expense of every other employee and immediately his investment would start to gain value again.
  20. I don't back Mike Ashley, but as no one else is prepared to put their money into the club it's pointless actively opposing him. There needs to be a third option along the lines of "He'll do until someone better comes along".
  21. "Goalposts were moved" Has a manager ever been so universally loathed by his own fans? I mean, not just "we think we need to sack him to move forward" or "he's out of his depth,' just honestly loathing him as a human being. I like Joe, the only problem is he's an imbecile with a big gob. He should be on Match of the Day in Lawro's place not managing one of the biggest clubs in the country.

    Ryan Taylor

You agree that Joe should publicly criticise Enrique, while keeping quiet about other players who he likes?
  23. TRon

    Ryan Taylor

Agreed, nothing wrong with demanding more from your players, Enrique can be a bit dopey for sure, but if Joe's going to make public criticism of his players he should be even handed and not just pick on the foreign lads. I've never heard a peep against Duff who put in one of the most cowardly performances in that first half I've seen from a Newcastle player in a long time. Kinnear's a fat oaf who will split the dressing room with those sort of guff.
  24. He's a c**t. Just because he bigs us (the fans) up in the press doesn't mean his agenda is anything other than shit stirring and feeding off scandal. And since when did NUSC become 'an official well run supporters club'?! I agree on some of the stuff he's wrote, especially the lack of communication, but other than anger and frustration he hasn't got any answers, same as most of the NUSC.
  25. idiotic at best. if he crashes and burns then we crash and burn with him. No we dont we start -12 points. yes, -12 points in the championship, with no money, no owner and forced to sell anything of value (stadium, players, training ground etc) to pay debts. NUFC RIP. But we might get rid of Ashley so that will make b & w happy. Similar to people who kill themselves and their partners when they find out they have been cheating.
