I think this is what Howe was alluding to when he said business decisions were overriding football decisions now. Or at least I hope it was. Howe is absolutely right as a coach to want to keep a goalie like Dubravka, he is still as good a back up keeper as any in the PL. But Mitchell would be absolutely right to take £6m for a 35 year old keeper if it's on the table.

Exactly. Fair play to them, they are having a storming season, and they do have a couple of really dangerous players in Elanga and MGW, but if they are still ahead of us at the end of the season, I would be disappointed.

While they are stockpiling an impressive collection of top class players, you can imagine it can't be much good for building team spirit. Some of their players like Madueke have already been accused of taking their foot off the gas. I know some managers specifically don't like having large squads because it can affect the unity of the camp.

Villa are probably more of a threat aye, but what I meant was that Man U and Spurs means 2 teams less to worry about for a CL place unless they go on some sort of miracle run, and our form drops off a cliff.
