One of those where I'll just trust that Rafa knows what he's doing. With good coaching I'm sure he's got a decent chance to be a semi competent defender in the Premiership. More importantly he's a versatile player who can play left back or CM if needed. Good player to have on the bench, which I'm sure is what his role will be when everyone's fit.

He'll get plenty of game time simply because all our CMs have huge deficiencies in their games.

Venus ahead of Serena? Stupid post.

Can't believe you've appointed Allardyce.

Don't think anyone has ever looked as happy as Ronaldo did lifting that trophy.

Robbie Brady's goal against Italy. Probably because I'm Irish that I think that though.

Feel happy for him tbh. 2016, man. Happy for Lebron, Happy for Ronaldo. Shit's wild. And Wade finally got a ring. See, you god damn bitch. We can't even have one fucking moment without you getting on some shti. Fuck you. Sorry.

Baby sleeping but shout whispered like a madman. Mine sleeps like a log now. 11 hours a night. Ours sleeps fine from 11pm until 6am. Before that, awaken him at your peril. Well, my peril. 11pm

Sad story really. Was on his way to being a bit of a club legend at one point but now he'll be remembered as a gutless waste of space who nobody was sad to see go. No sympathy for him though, the tosser. Piss off.

Sad to see us go out today, game just got away from us in ten minutes early in the second half. Could easily have turned into a thumping in the end but I think that would have been harsh on us after the amount that the players put in to the last two games. Last Wednesday and the celebrations that followed it will live long in the memory, very few goals that I've celebrated like I did Brady's goal against Italy. Definitely think the nation can be proud of how the players represented us. 2012 was an awful tournament for us. We got easily beaten in all three games but what really stung was how we played in them. Just sitting back, trying to defend for our lives and waiting for teams to find a way through. This time we approached the games so much better (barring the Belgium game, apparently. I didn't actually see it as I had a work thing I couldn't get out of) and tried to actually win games. We definitely got a huge slice of luck getting Italy when they had nothing to play for but it was a hell of a result regardless. Would any of our players get in the Italy squad? I don't know enough about the Italian squad to say but I'd be inclined to doubt it. We don't have enough ability in the squad to play expansive, technically demanding football. We have a few players in Coleman, Long, Brady and Hoolahan who actually do have some ability on the ball but by and large it's a team of players that need to work very hard and play for each other if we're going to have any chance against really quality teams. I feel that they all did exactly that over the last couple of weeks and as a fan I don't really think you can ask for much more than that.

That minute from Hoolahan missing the chance to Brady heading it home... man, that was a rollercoaster. Actually began a sentence yelling at Hoolahan for hitting such a good cross after pussyfooting his chance. Lept around like a spaz when the goal went in, poor dog ran off in terror. Didn't want to wake the baby so went outside and started screaming into the street. Been a long fucking time since football sent me this wild.

How good would that goal have been from Iceland?

He didn't exactly have to shoehorn Messi and then Robben into that role for all those years.

He'll use it as a stepping stone for the inevitable move to Bayern.
