Don't like this shit at all tbh. It's one game FFS, if he was stuck on the bench for a couple of months then yeah I could see why he'd be upset but this is nonsense. Would be naive to think that Demba isn't fully aware what his agent is going to be saying by the way, Ba's not going to come out and say these things himself but the pressure is being put on Pardew to start him every game now, and centrally too. Think we'll move him on in summer tbh. It'll be a pity to lose him as he's got a lot of quality but his fitness issues combined with a seemingly rather self-centred approach will make it easier to bare IMO. If we could replace him with a more versatile player (namely one who can play both up top and out left, allowing us the freedom to switch between systems without having worry about upsetting one of our players) it might be for the best long term.

We need to find a three man midfield that can allow us to play Ba & Cisse uptop with HBA in a free role behind them, its the only way we can accommodate both starting. It could work, but we need Cisse and Ba to start working the channels much better than they currently do.

Would have needed a cracking save to stop either goal, Krul would have had some chance but I don't know if he stops either of them. He's tragic to watch all the same.

Harper Perch --- Taylor --- Williamson --- Santon Anita --- Jonas Ben Arfa ------ Cabaye --------- Marveaux Ba Toss up between Ba and Cisse for the starting spot up front, gave the nod to Demba as he's been better so far this year. Think the extra man in midfield would be useful, especially with how Fellaini likes to drift off the front and play in the hole. We've also really struggled to link midfield to attack when playing 4-4-2 this year and we'll get no joy humping it long at Ba and Cisse with Everton's CB's. Also having a striker like Ba or Cisse on the bench would give us a real option to change it around the hour mark. Don't expect that though, Ba and Cisse will start together up top. Hopefully Pardew has pulled his finger out in these last couple of weeks and we serve up something a lot better than we've managed thus far this year.
