I'd take him on some low risk deal. He's looked like a complete bag of shit for Liverpool, but you never know. Plus he's Jose
  2. Aye, who were NOBODIES until Mou turned them into superstars with that CL win.
  3. You mean a player who has played well everywhere he's played, only to look poor for Liverpool? Probably just doesn't give the slightest shit about your worthless fucking club.

It's beyond me how businessman mike allows signings like this to happen. If we're not going to fucking play him, don't sign him in the first place. Failing that, just force spineless Steve to actually give the lad a chance. And if he's flouncing and won't play, you try and get someone to work with him and get him out of his rut. Lots of options that you'd imagine such an astute business mind could consider.
  5. he's a baller. needs to sign for the king.
  6. I reckon we plan to like. I'm expecting 4-4-1-1 from this point forward. Shout at Sissoko until he accepts he's a winger, Andros on the left, Gini behind Mitro.
  7. Need more standups. Daily isn't cutting it. Let's go hourly. More post it notes too.

It was ridiculous at the time too.

Sadly, it's not our decision. He is the one who wants to leave, rightly or wrongly, because of the stick he received at Watford. While I thought that stick was disgusting, I don't think he can hide behind that if he wants to get away. Anyone who has such a fragile temperament has no place at a club like Newcastle anyway. It's a shame because the lad clearly has talent but found the pace of the premier league too fast for his liking. I'm not sure I'm following this at all like, Thauvin has just decided he can't deal with the stick he got and he has to leave so the club are just saying "aye no bother" and spending £12m to replace him then letting him go wherever he wants while presumably still covering his wages to a degree and then maybe flogging him for a massive loss after a few more months? Which is what they just did with Cabella. All seems incredibly one sided to me and I'm rather amazed that the club like Thauvin so much to give him exactly what he wants at the cost of £12m. He must be a really nice kid I guess. Or maybe he just doesn't want to be here, doesn't like being tackled and wants to follow his girlfriend back on the next flight to Paris, Marseilles or whichever stylish French region he hails from. In any case, he's only going out on loan, maybe he will get to try again here next season assuming he's got the appetite for it. The point being it's not a one sided arrangement Tron. It kind of is though isn't it. Being a footballer is no different to having any other job in a lot of ways, and at the end of the day they're just people. In your line of work, would you kick up a fuss and resign / ask for a transfer to a different office etc if you hated where you are? Ah the old compare it to working in an office argument. The only way it's that one sided is if he's gone on strike or refused to play imo. Perhaps you know more about the behind the scenes efforts to integrate the lad but the on field efforts have been laughable, as they have with many other young foreign players we've signed. But aye it could all be them I suppose. He's a fully fledged propaganda spreader at this point.
  10. Luckily that means absolutely nothing. Other than the Spurs fan thinks he's shit. Newcastle fans think Sissoko is shit. How about we give him a chance before we all call him shit? My thinking he's mediocre is not in any way related to how many chances he'll have in the NUFC team, so you needn't worry about that. And his back catalogue of work doesn't just go out of the window because he's signed for NUFC, so I shall continue to be uninspired by him.

Sadly, it's not our decision. He is the one who wants to leave, rightly or wrongly, because of the stick he received at Watford. Yep, no going back now. Couldn't possibly find a way to remedy this situation. He is of course the first footballer ever to have a questionable temperament.

  13. I can confirm, before his pre-photo change of clothes in the bogs, Andros Townsend was wearing: a brown suit jacket "man jeggings" a spotted hanky in his top pocket winkle picker shoes This concludes my ITK.
  14. I will get back to you with knowledge about what he was actually wearing
  15. I have vital in-the-know to share. I can confirm townsend was wearing different clothes on the plane. He must've changed in the bogs.
  16. We should force people to come to Newcastle via the train. It's so much more impressive than arriving at that mickey mouse airport, especially as it's plastered with mackem adverts, and a NUFC advert with about 10 players we've sold on.
  17. aye but hes got like 20 international caps
  18. or when people kick the ball at the goal
  19. would prefer we gave him a shot over townsend like
  20. This. Don't mean to be harsh Ian but you've got your head in the clouds on this one. Just don't think they get any positive spin out of failing to sign people. I don't know, neither do you two (or Ronaldo) but I just can't see why they would bother with this. I've said I believe they might do things like lower the price late in the deal, or not spend as much as the manager wants etc. I just don't think it's part of some sort of masterplan to delude the public. Anyway, who knows? It just seems a very obscure way to get good publicity. Every single window, same thing happens, every single window, fans lap up the 'we tried' shite man. "nee value", "player too expensive", "mercenary wants too much money", "do a leeds" It's still fucking happening. And if they are telling the truth? It's one thing lying, it's another being a tight cunt. Neither are relevant in the last two windows. We have spent but it's too little too late IMO. Anytime we bid for someone, some nonce peeps up with "we tried, chortle chortle." It's boring nonsense. It's somewhere in between lying and being a tight cunt. Both are still relevant. It's not as straightforward as "we wont spend money". We'll spend, but only when terms are unlikely to be accepted as they'll always be very much financially beneficial to ourselves (with potential future value of a player being defined by the Carr/McClaren/Charnley brain trust). We'll make offers that are derisory, and we'll stretch out negotiations with very little movement, and then say we tried when we fail to sign those players. I don't see how it's nonsense at all.
