I did some very complicated calculations, and going off google he comes home with something like £6,100 a day. It seems absolutely feasible for someone like that to have a person they can pay £200 to who basically just follows them like a little lapdog for 4 hours on a night out. Get your drinks, drive you home, lie to the missus, the standard 'reliable mate' stuff, but in a nice paid slavey kind of way. You don't even have to call a taxi and talk to the BLOKE behind the wheel. Your little errand boy is already sat in your lambo waiting at the door, revving it to make you look nails, but he's sober. Job done. But it's obviously this isn't commonplace for some reason. Might be a (very limited) business opportunity for someone here.

The very first sentence of your article on Brazil “Despite a longstanding commitment to improving road safety, Brazil’s numerous initiatives have suffered from weak enforcement.“ The law and the general morale compass of a country is a complete separate thing. I can tell you it’s absolutely standard, and no one would bat an eye if you had 3 drinks and drove in the US. I’ll reiterate that it’s not something I would do, but it’s absolutely common as muck over here and no one really cares.

Yes. Yes it can. I'm not entirely sure how this is a relevant response to my post or in any way furthers the discussion, but you are absolutely correct!

Y'all realize you're all shitting your pants over this because you've been educated to believe that drink driving is this morally reprehensible thing that is reserved for only those of exceptionally low morale fiber. Not everyone has been brought up being told that having a few beers and then driving is tantamount to diddling kids. So perhaps take a step back and understand that maybe Big Jo doesn't deserve to be flogged for this, especially given it's his first offence of this type (to my knowledge...). Educate him, make sure he understands the seriousness of it, and if he does it again then you can cut his dick off or whatever else is deemed appropriate.

it was the night after the qf win. Likely no training on Thursday I guess.

because you are not nearly important enough to warrant having safeguards like this
-
I’d also hazard a guess to say he may not have been brought up to have the same mentality regarding drink driving as Brits do. Club should just read the riot act to anyone who signs for us regarding the importance/ attitude to drink driving in the UK.

Silly boy. Still beyond me why they don’t hire someone for minimum wage to follow them around doing stupid things like driving them home or wiping their arse.

I have done some research. It's definitely just a poor, legs-together, interpretation of Orange Justice. Here's a 10 hour stream of it for y'all to enjoy.

Aye you're not alone. I just assumed it was a colour clash / kitman fuckup and they ended up wearing a training shirt or something

Mackem with 32 kids attends game using free ticket paid for by TAXPAYERS! Read the shocking truth on page 4.

Aye, all I saw was MOTD highlights but they looked pretty class. Also, not sure we can use Forest's spending as an example of how much you need to spend to stay up. I think spending a few quid is generally required, but there is far more to it than the amount you spend.

I think the clamour is because he's barely had any minutes at all. To me a champo loan seems sensible, but we're going to have a shit ton of games over these next few months thanks to The Best World Cup Ever™, so as long as he's used, I'm happy for him to stay.

kind of. It's a mix of tongue in cheek and WHY FUCKIN NOT? You know?! Leicester were like 9 billion to one, I don't care what the odds are and who needs to beat who if we want XYZ. I just want to win as many games as possible and try to win the league. YOLO.

If we're going to win the title City need to drop points.

It's a difficult transition to make, being confident that you can rotate a squad and still perform. I absolutely think we need to get there as a team (and fanbase), but our strength-in-depth is seriously lacking. It would be nice to be rotating in players that didn't fill me with dread. Matt Richie is still regularly on our bench, and I'm not particularly convinced he'd be a standout player if he dropped to League One. I reckon I'd swap maybe 5 players out from the Arsenal game. Pope/Trips/Schar/One of the CMs/Wilson and keep the rest in. Hope we get a couple of early gols and then mass subs.

Agree with this. Biggest question mark for me is whether he's content with this kind of role in the squad.

That is not the case as far as I know. Unless something changed. The games that are on cable are not available on peacock to stream. Not sure on NBC games. It may well have changed, idk. It was like 3 weeks ago after all and my brain can’t be remembering that far back. Plus I often use dodgy means instead of peacock cos the app is dogshit and I like my British commentary (when possible).
-
It's still wildly annoying that I have to bounce between Peacock / TV (Sling in my instance) to find a game. Just let them all play in the Peacock app, I beg of you my evil Comcast overlords. Even if I have to register my Sling subscription to show I have USA Network.
