As much as the team needs pace, i dont think martins is the solution. I very much agree with boby moncur that his game over all is just not good enough. If he was happy to come on as a sub then hes worth keeping, but hes a nigerian and they all have huge egos; hell start whinning like an little girly if hes asked to play a subs role. Better to sell now while his stock is high. We can get better. 15m + martins on loan for 12months for Berbatov seems good to me. ALso offer them 12m for lennon, we can get 9 m for le sulkyness. 18m for arashavin plz )

I never watched any footy before 95 (except odd england game)when i happened to catch a game in a pub, nufc vs villa i think it was. Found myself watching quite a few games from then on that season and so i had some idea of how a keaganesque team could play. Had few doubts with this appointment, except when no signings arrived in jan, i couldnt see how he would suceed with a dodgy team like fsa had compiled! Not dropping smith also seemed a crazy approach, but maybe he has now seen the light on this one? Just hope he has plenty of suport in thransfer market, as its alot harsher place than back in 90s.

although beye is the obvious answer(hes class) with faye also doing well. I think Barton deserves a mention. For the reason he has had to fight hard to get the fans off his back. Hes certainly our most improved player imo, and barring a jail sentence, he should do very well here next season. Mind i gues that owen has also come through alot of stick too. SO maybe its toss up between them 2 as to who is most improved.

Surely around half the prem are making a loss. However i guess many have over spent this year, because they are banking on the new tv deal, so i guess it wont hurt them.....as long as sky dont go bust!! i exclude from this fact the following clubs.....nufc, manu, liverpool, chelsea, ....thse clubs are not run on normal financial lines, being the play toys of billionaires.
