i watched Bend it like bechkham for the first time last night. Have to say the main character `jess` was really hot, but them i am a sucker for any lass with black hair and dark skin. Theres a black lass in the england team whos dead cute. Think shes one of the strikers, she looks about 15 though, very pretty face. Rest are average IMO.

i was suprised how poor israel played. Maybe they dont travel well. Possibly they were worried about arab snipers hidden in the ranks of the milwall(cockney yob innngggerrrlaaand fans) ?! they looked a solid team over there; or maybe we made them look good! Heskey was very impressive in the first 30mins, he really took the fight to the Israelli defence, and they looked shell shocked, thought he faded after that. We were poor down the left. the crosses commng in were worse than a milner cross for accuracy !! Micah richards continues to impress, and SWP was lively. Our midfield was generally a bit dull though. Russia might turn us over, not really familiar with their players. Should be an interesting match!

The england setup is one of the biggest jokes in football. Its been a circus rather than a football performance since bobby robson left. Apart from the odd game its been really poor football from england since euro 96. They just look so faltering in the last third. The games against argentina are the only ones that have any real buzz about them; otherwise the players just seem to go through the motions of suffering the poor managers/tactics. However if the corporate numpties wanna blow their money on this drivel, theni guess that some of it dribbles from the fa feeding trough to the grassroots football. Its the only thing that makes the whole comedy parade worth a smidgen of salt. at least when gazza and shearer were around, it was fun watching england. For me atmo its just an embarasment.

A certain football club in northumberland has an england football shirt(white) donated by one of the charlton brothers, i forget which one. I am not sure if it was actually worn in a game, i think its signed; its not on display atmo, so i am trying to think back a few months !! If its white, that mean its post world cup shirt? AM looking for a rough value, as i know a member of staff there, and i think they need to think about getting it properly valued.
