If Arsenal is playing anywhere near their first team or even half of it...then I can't see any reason why to play our full first team either as we don't stand a chance! Gunner 3rd team have beaten better teams than us in the past and I can see that being the case this time as well so why risk any of our important guys in such meaningless match? Carroll-Shola partnership up front is a dead certain way for relegation! Way too one dimensional style. Maybe Shola can find the net occasionaly but once he's given a chance he'll stop scoring for sure! Been there done that in the past lots os times... Maybe Carroll's not good enough but he does everything twice better than Shola. Only we're lacking at the moment is a pacy partner for AC to run on for the flick ons as Carroll evendently can win headers but there's no one to chance them after that. It happens like 10 times every game when AC easily win a header but there's no player to recieve the ball within 20 yards! Oba Martins would be perfectly suited for that style but he wasn't consistent enough for my liking. Janyary shopping list priority should be a fast striker with some anticipation and off the ball ability and a decent right back!

If the rumours of around 1 million in fees for Perch it's the worst way to spend money indeed!

WTF!!!!....Why Hughton had to sub Tiote? Easily our best player! What is Nolan doing to get full 90mins every single time? Carroll doing his best trying to win headers but where is Nolan when he's supposed to be going for the flick ons? No fucking where...What's the point playing long balls to Andy(whos's constantly winning them...but no player is able to run for them) Both Stoke goals were Perch's fault IMO! Didn't follow his man(Huth...probably had no idea where Huth was in the first place) at first one and completed his nightmare with an excellent header no keeper in the world would have saved! Solid 6's for everyone(Tiote maybe with a 7) except 3 for Perch and 4 for Nolan.

Same, but I think Ranger needs to start having a look at again ahead of Shola and Best. Nile should be sent out on loan to get some first team experience or he will never make it here! He could be better than Shola or Loven but the step up from the reserves to a regular Premier league starter is huge and giving him some 5 mins in the first team as a sub won't help the case at all...I kinda have a feeling that LuaLua when he returns from the loan will a much much better player

A winger that can't cross a ball is as much use as the Popes dick. Exactly, wingers job are to cross the ball mainly and provide crosses to the strikers. Look at nani yesterday, 2 fantastic crosses and 2 goals. It's pretty mental to think that CH will drop Nolan as he's the first player Chris picks every single game! HBA is Hughton's buy and most certainly he will play him right from the start as he has done with every other player he has brought in(Williamson, Routledge, Simpson, Perch etc...) One worrying thing though is whether he's gonna drop Nolan? Can't see that happening! If we're hoping to develope our youngsters by loaning them out it's shouldn't be lower than Championship IMO...maybe League One for the ones at age of 18-19 not lower! I think Vuckic, Ranger and Kadar could all do a very good job at Championship level
