You can use that argument down to a very fine point. Almost, why should a team be punished when it's only a minority of supporters. Something has to be done, and it's a national problem, so it should be addressed as so. Personally, I'd rather he channelled his anger into his performance rather than running the length of the pitch to stick up for someone that is more than capable of doing so himself.
