    Alan Smith

Was fucking brilliant tonight. Must play as a striker.
  2. Not looking forward to this.
  3. Maybe not but we should not be having this debate. We have squad capable of getting in Europe and we should not be struggling like we are and putting in such poor performances. A lot of teams have a squad capable of getting into Europe, we can't all get there. It's Allardyce's job to make sure we do get there.
  4. yes because our Managers not a tactical genius we lost to Derby, no blame can be put on the players. It's the managers job to motivate the players and get them up for the game. Also in case you don't remember it Allardyce's genius idea to start Amoebi instead of Martins. The team we put out that night motivated or not should have been capable of beating/not losing to derby, the 10's of thousands they pick up every we should have been motivation enough to beat the likes of derby. Based on that logic there is no need for Allardyce if the squad didn't need motivating. It's easy to go into the game thinking we would coast it especially after they had just lost 6-0 to Liverpool and it was Allardyce's job to make sure we didn't get complacent, the fact is we played shit that night, Allardyce put out the wrong team and didn't have the players up for it.

  7. Yep forgot the fact there are 9 teams below us, we lost to Derby! Thats the important part How long are they going to below us though? Relegation zone is now only 7 pionts below us and we are closer to 15th than we are to 9th and that could go to 17th depending on results today and tomorow.
  8. We are the only team to lose to Derby. That just about sums up Allardyce's reign.
  9. So say the NOTW, Times and People this morning.
  10. In real trouble now. A poor performance and defeat against Arsenal could seal his fate now.
  11. Regardless of your personal opinion do you think a loss at Blackburn tomorow coupled with the likely defeat against Arsenal will get Sam the sack?
  12. Not unexpected to be honest. A lot of people will be putting money on because it is highly possible that defeat tomorow coupled with defeat against Arsenal will be the end.
  13. Looking bakc we proboboly should have gone for Sven.
  14. Knowing our luck we'll feel the bakclash at the weekend.
  15. Maybe not the top 4 but certainly teams in the top 10. Again difficult to agree when there are better managers who would do a better job. I would be furious if one of them was given our job. To be honest I'd be pretty content with Boothroyd as our manager, probobly Shearer as well. If Wise and Ince get thier sides promoted this year then I think any doubts I have about them would go.
  16. Maybe not the top 4 but certainly teams in the top 10.
  17. Not prepared because they are not good enough. Boothroyd - Got Watford to the Premiership. When they got the Premiership they spent no money and there best player was out for the season. Back in the Championship and are currently top. Ince - Managed to keep a Macclesfield side up that looked doomed. Now at MK Dons and in his first season is currently top of League 2. Wise - Fought hard against relegation last year. Now in League 1 and sitting in 5th despite having 15 pionts deducted, selling thier best players and spending nearly nothing. If they hadn't had the 15 piont deduction they would be 10 pionts clear at the top. Shearer - Untried but so was Roy Keane, surely a chairman in the top two divisions should have a punt. Top 3 have sohwn they are good managers and should really be given a shot at a big club.
  18. Hopefully he'll be fit for the transfer window!
  19. There's no decent English managers because the Premiership is dominated by money the big 4 are not prepared to give the job to an Englishman. Also chairman seem afraid to take punt on a young English manager and instead go for guys who have been there before. If I was a chairman of a Premiership club the first 4 names on my list would be Ince, Boothroyd, Wise and Shearer
  20. So say the Shields Gazette, The Journal and The Northern Echo this morning. I'd bite their hands off at that price.
  21. Depends on who we but in January tbh.
