why anyone would 'double up' on duff is beyond me. if it was possible to put half a man on a player, if i was a manager, i would take up that option when playing against a team that had duff in it. It's generally the case though. Most wide players find two players in front of them, Zog usually cuts inside to get round this, Duff usually loses the ball while trying to stay wide. Milner loses it while going wide and cutting inside. On the few occasions he gets behind the defender he checks back to let them catch up which isn't too hard. ah i know mate, i wasnt saying you were wrong, i was just stressing how shite i think duff is

It's just an interesting comparison as to what qualities to look for when going for a manager in this day and age. could you name someone with similar credentials, or 'world class status' that we could have attracted? ramos has done well to win today, but lets reemeber we were out of the comp before keegan arrived, and ramos (11th place) has had a lot more time, and a transfer window than keegan (13th place) has.

We need to rebuild the same way they did when Arnesen and Jol (and that fat French guy aswell) first came, by signing young talent and taking a gamble on young players from lower divisions.
