I think Jonas has been moved to the right to make way for Ben Arfa.
-
I didn't think Santon was as bad as some are making out.
-
He did nothing wrong today, I'd still like us to upgrade him because as soon as Jonas is replaced by Ben Arfa, Pardew is the obvious weakness.
-
I'm not too sure what to make of the game today. 4-2 flatters us a bit, I thought they played well and we could have been 4-2 down before we got our third. Some games fly over, this one seemed to last as long as a couple of other games put together.
-
Welcome back Hatem, thanks Jonas but it's time for a rest.
-
Debuchy was brilliant today, both when defending and going forward.
-
No Shola, and breathe.
-
All of the lower teir is red, white and blue.
-
People need to stop talking about the game being off, it's not going to happen.
-
It doesn't matter where he recovers.
-
Shoulder and Carney both signed after the FA Cup run.
-
I would have rather kept Carney than Roeder, who I couldn't stand. Roeder was called "a cultured defender," I couldn't stand the way he would grab hold of opposition players and his shuffle was embarrassing, cultured my arse.
-
He was a decent defender for somebody who came from the lower leagues. Christ, we were in the shit during those days when we had him, Shoulder and Cartwright all coming into the same side from non-league football.
-
Somehow I doubt you'd feel the same way if your boss was having a go at you in public. As if Williamson was a major factor in where we are now.
-
He could have bigged the other 3 up without mentioning "The other guy". I don't think many will doubt that we have 3 better players than Williamson, it didn't need Pardew to say it.
-
They are disgusting comments which didn't need saying, the blokes a prick. Williamson isn't the best player, none of us need reminding of that, I'm sure Williamson doesn't need reminding either. Having said that, he's played loads of games for us when we needed him and Pardew shouldn't be saying things like that to the press.
-
We've played plenty of games where I'd wished we had shut up shop so being able to do it is a good tool to have in your locker.
-
If they had scored we'd have been shagged though because we had nothing to offer up front once we made the changes and backed off. It worked for us tonight and that's all that really matters but I do think it will bite us in the arse again sooner or later.
-
Of course, Demba is in such a, no I can't use that one. Right, we had practised all week thinking we were going to play Demba and, no I can't use that one either. Sorry, I can't help, you'll have to ask somebody else.
-
If anybody has doubted how good Krul is they should think again, absolute class when you need him.
-
We've done really well tonight to come away with a win when under so much pressure. I thought our officials were bad but the last two displays in Europe have me thinking again. I thought Krul was brilliant, he reminded me of his debut when he was outstanding and Hiadara looks to be another bargain.
-
Lucky negative bastard, well done Krul who was brilliant.
-
It wasn't supposed to, I didn't quote you as it was a comment in general and not at anybody.

Can we all just enjoy him? He's one of a hand full of players at Newcastle in my lifetime that can get the crowd buzzing every time he gets the ball, just enjoy what we have. Life as a Newcastle fan really is too short, we don’t win things so this is as good as it gets.

Does it matter what Ben Arfa thinks of Pardew? I've got little or no doubt that they get on well but I think a lot of us were wondering what was going to happen when he was coming back from the broken bones. Pardew was almost writing him off during that season when he was talking about him possibly not being here too much longer (my words, not his). I don't think Ben Arfa is a better player but I do realise that he's matured for us and that isn't a bad thing as historically he's pissed managers off and by doing so made himself unavailable for games. All that doesn't matter, we have a very good footballer coming back from injury and we'll soon be able to watch him play football again. I’d be over the moon to find out that he’s signed a new contract and I couldn’t give a shit about his injury record here. He’s a brilliant footballer and if people can’t enjoy him they shouldn’t be watching football.
