It looks like it as his shin pad would have covered that area.

Gazza is a caring person who has problems, I've heard loads of stories about him giving money away to people who were worse off than he was. He was well known for seeing people with nowt in the streets and going to a cash point and going back to give his money away. He’s got a problem and needs help, I don’t see how others needing less help makes Gazza a worse person, it’s not that simple, obviously. Personally, I feel sorry for him in the same way that I would feel sorry for anybody going through what he's going through.
-
I'm sure whatever he had was for the pain from the impact and not the cut.
-
Course he will, he's an selfish drunken arsehole. BTW apparently not life threatening acording to Mabbutt who has spoken to the medical team. Just seems Gazza's lot want to make it sound really bad so people will feel sorry and pay the bill for the latest stint in rehab.
-
thing is, you say that as if it's been proved definitivly that not getting players in the summer was the problem and not crap tactics. The reality is that both played a part, not one or the other.
-
You will get negativity in a match thread when we've lost and you'll get positivity when we've won.

Jonas, like the other 3 in the wall were watching the ball and he (Jonas) reacted, he even tilted his neck and head towards the ball in an attempt to get it. He was clearly going for the ball which was going over the head of Perch.
-
Let's get this right from your point of view, the person to blame for the goal was the only person who made an attempt to get to the ball. You don't either jump or not jump. As a defender you keep your eye on the ball and react to whatever happens, like Jonas did. If Jonas can see where the ball is going and can react then Perch should have been able to react. As for never having played football, give over.
-
He's good to have in reserve but should only start due to others being rested or injured, he's still a valuable squad member and I feel guilty when I have a go at him.
-
You'll have to wait a long time to see him play against Metalist, he can't play as he's already played in the Europa, he even played against us.
-
Coloccini has never had pace, at least not while he's been here. It shouldn't be forgotten that he's a very good player with the ball and could easily have had an assist today with a brilliant ball into the Spurs box.
-
Coloccini didn't cost us 2 goals today, I find it laughable that some are blaming him for the both even though I would agree that he had a part in both. He didn't give away the first goal, he gave away a free kick and defenders do that regularly, or they will if they tackle because they'll never get them 100% right every time. Perch should have blocked the first with his head and he not doing so cost us the first. People using the 2 others in the wall not jumping as a defence for Perch, it isn’t because Perch was the only player in the wall who could and should have blocked the shot. The 2nd was down to Coloccini and Taylor, Taylor screwed up slightly and Coloccini repeated that with his failed attempt at a tackle. I wouldn't be surprised if the broken nose suffered by Ba played some part in his failed tackle because if he was going to get the ball today he was going to have to raise his foot again, although not in the same way as he had to last weekend.
-
We were crying out for some pace on the left, as much as I dislike Obertan, he was the more obvious sub for the last 10 minutes.
-
Perch may not have been the worst player for us but he was at fault for the first goal and everything else from him was totally ineffective, as for Pardew he's an average manager and dropped a couple of bollocks whether you recognise that or not.
-
Hopefully with himself for leaving an ineffective Perch on for so long and then for bringing Shola on.
-
At the same time if they all jumped and Bale shot under and scored we'd have all said "why did you f***ing jump?" It was a great free kick none the less. I myself wish he jumped as well - but we battled and answered well in the first half. Perch was watching the ball, Perch should have jumped as the ball was nowhere near going under him.
-
Yep. Poor positioning at fault. There were four people in the wall, too - three that didn't jump. Anyway. Debuchy's gonna have to accelerate his adapting this afternoon. Only one could have made a difference.

I can't remember who was in the Southampton team but I do remember an 18 year old Gazza during his first game slapping his arse as if to say he had somebody in his back pocket.
-
I missed "ever" for some reason, again though, he probably was. I was at his full debut against Southampton and I have never ever seen a kid have such a good first game, he ran the whole game virtually on his own and we were all drooling at what we'd seen.
-
He probably was one of the best players in the world, he could do anything he wanted on a football pitch.
