Calling somebody a puppet is hardly the end of the world, you're being far too sensitive.

I am, nobody should ever have a change of mind, once you take up a position it should be with you for the rest of your life.

You couldn't make that shit up.

I probably did call him a puppet at some stage but I also said during the first season up that he deserved at least the full season unless we were looking like going down because he had earned it.

Was it reported in one of the papers that Llambias or Ashley tried to have some say in which players were picked or was that Keegan?

You're having a go at the wrong people, the important people that he deserved more respect from aren't on here.

It didn't matter what anybody on here thought about him, nobody on here sacked him and nobody on here was waiting in the wings for him to get sacked so they could take his job.
  8. Racists are harming the game, not those who talk about it.
  9. You were right to confront them, well done. I've seen red mist with people twice in the last few seasons and nearly had a couple of fights. The first was for some bastard spitting at somebody in the row above me and hitting me. The second time was when some people were sexually abusing a woman who was with her kid and I just lost it with them. I couldn't give a shit if they like it or not, I hate anything like what you've been through and you were right to say something.
  10. Was it a flare? I thought it was a bag of blue powder or something. I noticed that the police numbers in with the Man City fans were a lot higher after that than before.

I can't see us losing unless they really have a go at us and get an early goal, if they don't come at us I can see us winning well.
  12. They could have had 4 or 5 in the first half, on another day we could have been slaughtered before the break. We played some decent stuff in the 2nd half but I felt that they were happy to sit back at 2-0 and said that they would score once we got it back to 1 goal. Man City have good players but they didn't look that good as a team until they had to do something and then they ripped through us.

He should be on the dole by next weekend unless we pick up 3 points against QPR.

Not starting Marveaux was a bollock dropped, second half was all graft and little else.

    Vurnon Anita

He was outstanding today, head and shoulders above anybody else.
  16. The dreamboat and HBA make such a difference though. Indeed, I'm just saying it's a bit harsh to be beating on Pards when he can't really do much else with what he has available. Does anyone really think putting Marv or Fergie in that team instead of Jonas suddenly transforms a negative team into a flowing, attacking one? It makes a big difference, nobody supports a team to watch negative shite and that's what we look like playing.
  17. Ba and Cisse worked last season, they don't work this season because we're not playing them the same way that did work.
  18. His distribution was a problem last season when he came back from injury or suspension, not that he's a poor footballer. He does struggle though when he's been out of the team for whatever reason and this season he's still struggling and been in the team for about a month since he was injured.

I hope Obertan has a one way ticket.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Yep, Hatem out of the City game probably doesn't affect anything, Hatem out for a couple of months equals squeeky bum time. It'll affect any hope that I had of enjoying the game, its still right not to play him if we have any doubt over his fitness.

I played football for a team who was managed by a footballer who became a good friend, the bastard scored against us at St James' which didn't go down well.
