I keep reading the title as Skirge Mentality.

Bollocks, you get up at the time you would have anyway and have an extra hour on the drink. Anyway, it looked a bit random and was unexpected.

The FA didn't try to help us, they bottled it because Shearer threatened to quit playing for England.

I think Hughton has been spot on with this and has been dignified throughout. He doesn't need to say anything and for all we know the letter to the FA could have been his idea.

Milner seemed quite happy about Ben Arfa going off, I stuck up for him while he was here, I'll never do that again.

If his injury is no more than we already know then he'll be back as good as ever once he gets over the mental scars. I don't think anybody will rush him back as it's not worth it and we haven't rushed players back here since Souness left the club. Owen rushed back so that he could play for his beloved England but that wasn't the fault of the club.

Guthrie isn't a right winger, that was proven last season when we massively improved when moving him inside and playing a proper winger.

Better late than never.

Hughton doesn't deserve too much stick because of the way we played yesterday, I though that he got most things right and deserves a bit of slack.

They aren't called the FA for nothing.

I think we'll see a reaction from the players and win this one.

Agreed, I still hope that he has a quick recovery and we're able to watch him play for us again.
