  1. So Chelsea have been beaten for the first time this season, nice history re-write.
  2. Boro go down 3-1, Strachan must be worried.
  3. They've seen the cup draw and bottled it.
  4. If the results stay the way they are and we win tomorrow we're 5th top.
  5. Mick

    Hatem Ben Arfa

    It's his full home debut.
  6. Agreed although he hardly played him.
  7. I'd play mainly the same team as we played against Chelsea, Arsenal will be no better than the team Chelsea fielded and they'll not have the benefit of playing at home like Chelsea did.
  8. One Arsenal fan on an Arsenal forum. "I say play the kids and there's no shame if we lose. Coz if Newcastle show up, they could turn over our first team."
  9. It is but I would rather have the chance of knocking out a better team now than face them later and possibly away from home.
  10. I didn't expect that they would be happy about it, like I said, it's a good draw as we either go through or we go out now and concentrate on the league.
  11. No, they should have had a further deduction for the reason you mention.

  13. Shoulda, coulda without any doubt. I'm not sure that we were lacking drive and creativity as we had loads of chances but we hit them at the keeper most of the time. We seemed to think that the game was going to be too easy and the only thing we missed was the cutting edge due to complacency and we'll not do that in a hurry. I was as frustrated as anybody as we would have won the game if we’d gone about it in the way we have with every other game played this season. Our problem after we’d made the changes was putting too many players in the Blackpool box when we would have been better off just changing the players like for like and keeping our shape.
  14. The "diabolical loss" should have been a resounding home win, we just didn't score when we should have.
  15. Ref's will start looking for it if they are seeing it highlighted on TV.
