Norwich are obviously better than our first team then.

It looks like I've seen more of Norwich than you've seen of our reserves. As for appearances last year, the players who have played for the reserves this season made 109 first team appearances for us last season. Add to that Campbell who played for Arsenal, Simpson who is injured and played 39, Steve Taylor who played 21 and Best who played 13. They will all either be in the reserves or displace somebody else from the first team who were in a higher division than Norwich were. Also, Gosling either plays for the reserves or displaces somebody like the other injured players.

It's not irrelevant, it shows what he's capable of producing.

I don't think it was ever a possibility that he would come back after the way he left the club.

I don't agree that he was terrible for the majority of his first season here. He probably had 6 to 8 poor games while the club was in turmoil. He came to a new country and ended up at a club that was self-destructing, I think anybody would have struggled under those conditions. He had a very good season in the Championship, it was always going to be a possibility that he’d have bad days in the Premiership and he probably will but I’m confident that he’ll get over it much easier than he would have in the past. He’s got a cult following and I think we can stop worrying about him because he’s comfortable at the club and he knows that we’re on his side. Having Tiote in midfield of him will make life much easier for everybody at the back.

His neck is massive, it's almost the same diameter as his head and I mean that as a compliment.

He didn't play well against Villa, even if he did get a couple of goals. Watching him try to run onto through balls was like watching time stand still.
