  1. Yes, I can see how they come to that conclusion with Tiote being s**** against Everton and Smith being amazing in the Chelsea game. Especially considering 'Both Chris Hughton and Tony Pulis are likely to switch back to Premier League mode after making wholesale changes for their club's respective Carling Cup victories in midweek.'. They don't even have Tiote on the bench.
  2. He was doing it far too often against Everton and it was right that it was mentioned, we'd go mad if the opposition were doing it to us. I'm not saying he sould be dropped because of it but he needs to stop doing it because he was also doing it against Blackpool, just not as much as he did last weekend. Players go down now as soon as they feel contact and officials are falling for the slightest contact and giving penalties, free kicks and bookings.
  3. Williamson will cost us at the back if he keeps holding on to players in our box which he does far too often, he worries me.
  4. We would have to pay him the going rate, anything less would be an insult to the bloke considering how far we've come since he took over the job.
  5. Some people complain that Harper never leaves his line, some people complain when Krul leaves his line. The keeper has the toughest job in the team as he gets stick for the slightest mistake.
  6. It we give it 100% and don't expect to just turn up and take the points then we'll win. When we go into games expecting to win we can sit back and take it easy, unlike the games which we've won when we've been closing players down as soon as the ball has moved. Against Blackpool we were often second to react and gave them too much room in which to play the ball around.
  7. Krul needs a good run of games to take another step towards becoming a very good keeper. Learning to deal with teams like Stoke is something that he'll not be used to and he'll only improve because of it. Playing for the reserves is great up to a point as you'll know but the football can become sterile at times as most teams try to play nice football.
  8. The 1500 who attended last night only went because they wanted to see us get knocked out.
  9. I don't know a single person who shares your opinion, either on here or away from here.
  10. I think he's playing right-back on Sunday because Perch is suspended.

    Sunderland...

I didn't really believe in Karma either, I have had second thoughts since playing Villa.
  12. We're not, we'll not be complacent like we were against Blackpool.
  13. For some daft reason we have 3 home venues, St James', Darsley Park and Whitley Park. Getting to them all by Metro isn't too bad, the main problem with our next 3 home games is that they are mid-week afternoon kick off's. The next mid-week evening kick off at St James' isn't until the end of February, 5 months away.
  14. That ball from Coloccini was brilliant and the goal was even better.
  15. I'll have to bow to your superior knowledge on that one.
  16. We've got some excellent kids playing in the reserves, Ferguson is just one of a few. It's a pity more people don't turn up to watch them as it's a good 90 minutes of cheap or free football.
  17. He'll be OK, remember he was going to get slaughtered when we went down because the Championship was supposed to be tougher.
  18. I would think for a lot of our fans it's because they would like to know how it feels.
  19. That corner was probably the best one we've had this season, it was brilliant and unexpected.
