We are screwed, McClaren simply can't motivate our players, our passing has been lazy and pathetic.

I really enjoyed watching him against West Brom and he's another contender for Man of the Match.

He was unexpectedly good today.

He would be brilliant if we could get some consistency out of him, he's got good pace and power but goes missing far too often.

He played really well and took his goal superbly. Have we put him through on the keeper like that before today?

He did well today, I had massive doubts about his team selection but he was proven right. His refusal to change things earlier was a bit irritating but I wouldn't have known who to take off if I was in his position. I hope he plays the same 11 next game so we can get some stability and to also reward the players for what they've done today.

We played really well, a few more goals would have made the afternoon a bit more relaxing but it was still enjoyable to watch and we didn't have a weakness other than in front of goal.

As is stands the mackems are 3 points ahead of Villa and 5 behind us.

I would say all of our players have given 8 out of 10 during the first half apart from our keeper who has had nothing to do.

I didn't see the sense in starting Tiote and Aarons, they've both been good.

Why does Tiote only score sitters? Or not.

Mitrovic can't score but he is excellent apart from that.

We should have kept Pardew.

This is so much better.

He was probably our best player during the week and then gets dropped, that's a terrible decision and is hardly going to motivate him or any other player when they come into the team and play well only to then be dropped.

I don't understand him dropping Saivet or starting Aarons in defence.
