  1. Perhaps they do want to be number 1 but aren't prepared to cheat to get there and hadnt realised the rest of the PL were prepared to change rules to stop them. "Well what about the training kit sponsorship?" Its been answered, go and look for yourself. It doesn't turn the dial whatsoever. Our ownership have been outstanding in the first few years. Not perfect, but brilliant all the same.
  2. More specifically, youd have to be an absolute weapon to use it as a stick to beat your own club with. "How fucking disgraceful that my club isn't flouting the rules like everyone else, shame on them." Its ok to think you are the cleverest person in the room on one subject, but when you think you are the cleverest person in the room on every subject, theres likely something wrong with your brain.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Feels like us bringing Elliot Anderson home as some sort of Joelinton replacement feels rather nailed on. Its probably going to cost us 60+ to do that though.. However, even at that price, I think it would be a deal worth doing. We know his character and we know his quality. He could quite easily spend the rest of his career here.
  6. Taylor Payne is the guy who does the PodontheTyne podcast.
  7. I agree that Woltemade is going to match fit and Wissa wont be, therefore I think the big german starts.

Thats the key, the future. I think we are finally in a position where we have a team of "assets" to sell, which we didnt have on day 1 of the takeover. I can see a scenario where every season we sell someone like Harvey Barnes (im not trying to sell him), to boost our kitty and refresh the squad, without the team suffering massively.

Im not so sure thats true mind. Theres being "available", and being available.

The difference for me is that Wissa seemed to understand that this was his last chance, where as Isak had been offered the chance to leave with a clause and they even set clear conditions and he still acted the cunt. Wissa and his agent, actively went and met with Brentford to try and find a solution. Although I can't say for sure, I suspect Isaks agent was an absolute tosser from the first moment. It was a scorched earth policy.
  11. Remember when self appointed Twitter spokesperson of Newcastle Taylor Payne referred to this place as "internet virgins", with no sense of irony whatsoever. Its a platform to talk, nothing more, nothing less. It has idiots, just like everywhere else, but the difference i suppose is that it doesn't have bots (although I sometimes wonder) and in this community we can pick up one another's vibes and get to know each other. Adam Clery is very good at his job but I bet hes a right clever cunt in person but I dont mind that.

Dan Burn has been worth about 55m to us. I know that wasnt your point but incredible really.
  13. In the dark days of MA I would have given anything for current Newcastle, Europe (should have been 3 times) 2 Cup finals, loads of cup runs, a trophy, a squad of great players, ambition to continue to sign great players and most importantly a manager I adore. Personally, I feel like ive got my club back. I dont feel like I have my sport back though, at some point the PL crossed the rubicon from being romantic, exciting and passionate, into corporate, VAR, social media closedshopism, occasionally you get a glimpse of that old romance but its not the same, the cards are stacked against us every time. These same "plucky underdogs" like Liverpool who've done it "the hard way" are the same ones who sold their souls to the idea of a superleague and the ultimate closed shop. In terms of our ownership/management structure, are they perfect? No. Could they be quicker and more organised? Sure, but its lightyears from where it used to be and I hate when people miss that part out of their critique. You can want the ultimate ambition all you want, but the real roadblock to that ambition isn't our ownership but the plethora of PL clubs who are self serving either by pulling the PSR ladder up or allowing the status quo to continue because it benefits their model of buying and selling. Remember when KK said "one day you will get your club back and it will be everything you ever wanted"? Well even the great man hadnt foreseen that the PL itself would consume clubs who weren't part of the self identified "big six".
  14. Funny because your agent was on talksport earlier slagging us off. 🎶 Fuck off Isak you re a daft cunt now 🎶
  15. Which one is better placed to start? Woltemade will be match fit but Wissa is the experienced one.

    Sven Botman

The level of hatred for Isak, I wouldnt be surprised if Botman gets some stick during our next match.
  18. To do list: Clarity on training ground and stadium. New DoF New CEO Securing multiple players to new contract, starting with Tonali and Tino. I want an interview from the CEO, and not one from the DoF. Thats how it should work. There is nothing a director of football could say that wouldnt be read into the wrong way.

Just looking at his goals, the one thing that stands out is that hes the most alive player in the box. Hes first to every ball. Good in the air too.
