Howes decision to separate himself from the club is very clever. Anything bad towards Isak, "the club are dealing with that". That way Isak cant blame Howe on anything. Hes even telling everyone what a nice guy Isak is... imagine how infuriating that is for Isak himself. Just fall out with me goddammit Im telling you the way this ends is by us and Isak having a "nice chat" whereby both sides "accept mistakes" or some shit that nobody believes whatsoever. A marriage of convience is ahead and everyone will pretend its all fine... apart from our fans who will rightly give him dogs abuse the first time he steps back on the pitch. Even then Eddie is smart, he will drip feed him in, probably as an unused sub at first, just to protect him.

I think it shows quite conclusively that the club are aware of what time remains. The issue is that if we go back to Brentford every day with a new and higher bid, guess what Brentford are going to keep doing in response? Brentford need to get a real sense that we are prepared to walk away, and that they may not get the money which the likely need long term. They may just not sell but I suspect if we go high enough they will accept but if they wont give us a fee, we dont know what to aim for and could end up going above what they want... which is a problem.
