  1. Apart from that tackle Longstaff has been a passenger. Really poor.
  2. Provided it's 2-2 at half time, I can only see us getting stronger in the second half. Get Tonali, Schar, Isak etc on.
  3. This game is mental and Osula is the director.
  4. There's Joe Willock. Where you been hiding bruv?
  5. Osula looks waaaaay better off the right.
  6. Not a chance that was in. Wasn't even close.
  7. Would love him to at least get into a place whereby we get a couple of million back for him, or even better, gain a player for our squad.
  8. If Wilson can give us until the end of the season it will be absolutely crucial in where we finish IMO. If, if, if.
  9. Certainly not a criticism of him. You can tell he's desperate not to make the side worse with his subs. My wider point was that Howe not bringing a player on isn't always an indication of fitness, form of even how he rates them, especially when it comes to younger players.
  10. Perhaps but Howe is quite cautious with subs at the best of times. I think you are probably right TBF, it's more probable that he doesn't start but it's also perfectly possible that he's given 45 from the start.
  11. It depends entirely on what he's been doing behind closed doors. He might have had some games like Botman did. If he's only just returned to training at an intense level, then I'd agree with you.
  12. Howe always goes stronger than what I expect. Anyway one of Bruno/Tonali will start, possibly half each. Pope Tino Krafth Schar Targett Bruno Miley Longstaff Osula* Wilson Willock *Howe hinted at Osula as a right wing option.

    Alexander Isak

It's not even the eventual possibility/inevitability of him moving, it's the absolute brass neck of these cuntish clubs down south that winds me up. Arsenal haven't won the league in 20 years, they've got a few domestic trophies in their cabinet which we don't, but that's it. If the lad is making the biggest move of his career, he should want guaranteed (as good as) leagues and champions leagues. Real Madrid, fine. Barcelona with some magic money, I understand to a degree. Bayern Munich, sure great club, will at least win shit loads of domestic titles. Arsenal? Fuck off man. Even if they had the cash and Isak wanted it, I'd not sell to them out of principal. Besides, we are clearly not a million miles off them. Even if it were City, provided they went about it the correct way, I could handle it. Anything beyond that is a joke. Liverpool are smarter than to pay 150m on one player, it's not their model. Chelsea on footballing terms is a batshit sideways step, Man Utd and Spurs pfft. Bit of a rant but if he goes, he goes on our terms, with our blessing and to a club which has gone about it in the correct way. Ive said before, if Isak puts some silverware in our cabinet, he's rewarded himself with whatever future he wishes in my mind, apart from Arsenal, never Arsenal.
  14. Either Joelinton plays and drops in to help the CB and LB or we play an extra CB like we did against Arsenal.
  15. Id set up exactly like we did against Arsenal. Go man for man in the midfield, if we win that battle we can win any game and our midfield is capable of winning any battle. Liverpool are capable of conceding goals. If we can get ourselves ahead, I think we are capable of battening down the hatches. Don't think for a second that Liverpool will fancy us. Nowt worse than a game when you know the opposition is going to fight for their lives.
  16. I think he meant Contes Chelsea side, rather than Mourinhos.
  17. On how Liverpool will rank as PL champions, look at their starting 11: Allison* Trent* Konate VVD* Robertson Slob Gravenberch MacAllister Salah* Diaz Gakpo When it comes down to the pantheon of great players, Liverpool have 4 in their side who are truly elite in comparison to players of yesteryear. (Don't mistake this as not rating their other players, it's just in comparison to other PL winners). Lets take two other examples: Cech* Ferriera Carvalho* Terry* Cole* Lampard* Essien* Mikel Robben* Drogba* Joe Cole Or: Van Der Sar. Neville* Ferdinand* Vidic* Evra Ronaldo* Carrick Scholes* Giggs* Tevez* Rooney* Of course times change and in a few years we might look at Gravenberch as an all time great etc but for me this Liverpool side is more Leicester, Blackburn, Chelsea under Conte perhaps. Put it this way, Klopps side of 2/3 year ago would have been out of sight IMO. Not a criticism, just a comparison.
