Come home Merino lad. Just come home.

Yeah sorry, I was more meaning like someone using the word cunt than a racial slur.
-
I don't get the idea of being offended by something not directed at you anyway. How does that even work?

Prefer NUFC not to be like an England friendly. Football can absolutely be a place for women but it shouldn't change because women go to the game. It's rough, it's smelly, it's got people swearing, chanting, taking the piss and drinking copious amounts of beer. That's why I love it. You will hear/see nothing at a football match that you wouldn't also see past 9pm at your local pub or club. Don't treat football like "any other entertainment event", its not the cricket or the rugby or an Ed Sheeran gig. Its football, and its mint.

I think he will end up as an wide left forward again. He will be incredibly useful in our jaunts to European giants in the future. He's exactly the sort of massive shithouse you need to break the will of tough opposition on the road. His versatility means he will end up playing 30 games a season, even if we decide to "upgrade" in key positions. He's a beautiful, beautiful, beast.

Despite being a successful club in the last 20 years, Chelsea as a club are soulless. Their fans are a horrible mix of tories, toffs and racist thugs. When Rory Jennings is your poster boy, you really need to ask questions.
-
Anyone else for Athletico that we might look at? Especially since they are now out of all European competitions?
-
Also means Joelinton is fresh for the last 2 games.

Problem is, we can't really sign "back ups" in the tradional sense. We need to sign those who can challenge to start or young players who we can develop. Getting rid of Richie, Lewis and Dummett (will probably take a back room role), will ultimately put us in a place where we need a left sided of player. Possibly defensive, but a young player in the Zinchenko mould would be nice.
-
young uns have just done a trippier/almiron on the mackems.
-
A young CB who can also play RB would be perfect for us.

At the start of the season, I had Hassenhutl pegged as the first to be sacked. I honestly think he's terrible, how he keeps finding a purple patch is beyond me. Their squad is largely shite, with a few decent young players. Their biggest asset is their capability of turning up at home. For whatever reason, from time to time, they manage to put in some decent home performances. I think they need to turn out the mother of all performances to get a win against us but it is the PL and every side is capable of a good game. I'm generally reserved on whether I think we will win but I will go 0-2.

For the most part, I've been largely ignoring us as serious contenders for 4th, I just keep falling back on the assumption that the usual teams will eventually nudge us out but.... I was listening to Jamie O'Hara talking about how apart from Son and Kane, we have a better first team than Spurs and while I'd argue Kulsevski (sp) and Hojberg would possibly get in there too, he made an excellent point. Are we actually underestimating the strength of our first 11? If we keep our best players fit, perhaps we are capable of getting all the way to May.
-
I genuinely think he doesn't realise how quick he is. If he just forgot about doing something clever and played to his strengths by touching it past a fullback and trusting his pace he'd have far more success. He's particularly effective when the opposition is tired.
-
If anything I think JWPs is hard done by because everyone thinks he is merely a free kick specialist. He's actually an excellent footballer but I think the chance of him leaving Southampton has been and gone. Fair play to him too. He's playing for the club he loves and will be a legend there.

Best match cam yet. The bit where Miggy scores is sublime footage. You feel like you are on the pitch with them.
-
I think it's unclear. One thing is for certain, Dan Ashworth will know.

This is why someone like Maddison would be important. If Bruno gets injured, at least we have some craft from midfield. Shelvey is an able deputy in the "6" position and while not being as good, it's the same for all good players and good sides. Liverpool would struggle without Van Dijk, City without De Bruyne, Spurs without Kane. Etc. We can't live in too much fear that good players will get injured. Trippier is mainly a risk because Krafth is also injured, who again is an able deputy, when available. The issue is when you have Bruno AND Trippier AND Wilson, for example but again it's the same for everyone. You have to try and have the best squad you can and hope for a bit of luck. From a transfer perspective, I like the idea of Maddison because he could play where Miggy is or where Longstaff is. He's an elite player who can play in a couple positions, which is rare.

We have a 7th o meter. Baby steps mate.

You just look like a side in the early stages of a new manager. Playing better but plenty still to do. There was a team spirit at the end of the game today that was new. Passion and fight. That said, you don't want to be backs to the wall to often.
-
I think he's twice the player he was under Bruce. He's just not getting the goals. He's being asked to do a helluva lot more donkey work than Bruce did, that means a hard press. I thought prior to the villa game that he had been one of our best players. I think it's clear he is right in the middle of a formative stage in his career. He will either bounce through this and become a real top midfielder or he will lose focus and be another average midfielder at someone like Palace or Everton.

Ten Hag is a cracking manager. Talks so much sense.
-
Because the word Ham derives from the word Hamm, which means a space of marshland or wetland, I think. West Ham was presumably built to the West of this area.
-
It's Southampton mate, even if they all start on you, you be fine. In all seriousness, just keep yourself to yourself. You will be fine.
-
He's well gone. He just struts around the pitch looking for photo opportunities.
