I'm still going at the weekend, not because i have any love towards Ashley but because i love my club and always enjoy the football. I will add my voice to the protest when i can but just as important i will support the lads for the 90 minutes. If there is anything worse than the shit that is going on at the minute, it's if we start dropping points against teams like Hull at home.

"Wise is unlikely to be bothered about claims he is only interested in Ince because of their friendship as England players and in their short time together at Swindon." No no Alan. You mean YOU are not bothered by claims that the story is made up because Ince happens to know Wise.

Like who? I thought Zico was meant to be shite?

I mentioned earlier in this thread that i expect someone like Venables through the door. Bloody horrific if that were to happen. However, Anal is usually wrong so....
-
I'm worried that the club will turn to Avram Grant or Terry Venables.

I'm not going to post regarding the manager i want because i don't think it makes a difference. I shall just sit back and watch what the club does. One thing is for sure, in order to "appease" me, they will have to pull a fucking giant rabbit out of the biggest hat.

This week has been a farce, there's no two ways about it. I have been a massive defender of the Ashley regime but even i can't defend this one. This kind of thing should not happen at football clubs but when it does happen then someone has to take the blame and that for me is the man at the top of the hierarchy. Ashley should have his house in order. However, there were alot of "farces" (as well as success) under the last regime, lets not forget that.

There's no way that the LMA would stay quiet and i see no reason why KK would.
-
I mean, i think we will hear the outcome tommorow.
-
Tommorow will be the day, although that is a guess. BTW, those who think they are talking about a "compensation packet". What the fuck are agents, Solictors and lawyers payed so much for. I can hardly see Ashley and Co talking about his serverance pay before telling the fans that he isn't the manager.
-
If that happens, it won't be because people ITK found out about it but because it is probably the most likely thing to happen anyway i.e a pure guess.

One man doesn't run a football club but one man should run team affairs including which players he wants playing for him. That man is the most important person at the football club because he determines whether or not we are successful. All other employees of the football club are there to support the manager, and that includes the chairman, director of football, scouts, contract negotiators, coaches, players, boot boy etc. That is why Keegan should be given exactly what he wants and needs if he is to do his job to the best of his ability. Ashley should say to Keegan 'this is how much you have to spend, this is our salary cap, all players purchased must be under the age of 26. Now off you go sunshine, go and bring us some silverware'. End of! Try telling AC Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea that. None of them clubs run under the system you have just described, as well as half the clubs on the continent. The Chairmen of all of these clubs buy and sell player sbehind their managers' backs. Are you sure about that? Yes. These clubs sometimes buy players because of their name and reputation, not because of their position or value to the team. Shevchenko to Chelsea (bought for status) Shevchenko to Milan (bought by the chariman because of his relationship with the club) It happens all the time, it even happened at Barca whilst Bobby was their. There are paragraphs in his book about it. As well as while he was at Porto. The difference is that it is not called "behind their back". It's just the system. BTW, i'm saying it's the best system, i'm saying that it does exist. Old dogs like KK won't like it.

I don't know about you lot but i'm still fuming at setantas comentary of the arsenal game

SSN are infuriating. They know nowt, yet claim to know everything. "Sky sports sources" "Finger on the pulse" "Friends of sky sports say" "What we are hearing" "News from within the club" "The information we have recieved" "Word around the ground" I can't remember the last time they got anything right, that wasn't already clearly obvious to us anyway.
-
There are so many different ways of looking at this situation, the problem is that we are all reading into it all far too much. Everything the club, LMA, the papers, SSN and the fans have said is been scrutinised to the final detail. I don't blame us for doing so as we love the club so much but TBH we are going around in circles. It's hard to determine the facts and even when we do it's hard to understand what they mean. The only thing we can hope for is that by the time we play Hull City there is some clarity and we stuff the bastards. It's amazing what 3 points can do for the aura of a club.
-
So where is this lad? Is he in training or is he with the U21's?
-
Aye, i was thinking he probably offers something our other players won't like.
-
So after all this discussion we are none the wiser, correct?
-
This: Given Beye Coloccini Taylor Enrique Butt Guthrie Jonas Zoggy Owen Martins I don't know enough about the new boys to judge. I also don't know whether barton is capable of recapturing his old form.

On the positive side (allegedly); Chelsea- Have a "foreign" set up and bought players over Mourihno's head, failed to land their number one target this summer. West Ham- Selling players over their managers head, manager resigned. Spurs- Have a "foreign" set up. Did Ramos really know who Alan Hutton was in the january window? (did he fuck) Liverpool- Not stumping up the cash for their main transfer targets, causing rifts throughout about "backing". Blackburn- Forced into selling two of their best players, Friedel and Bentley. Man City- I week ago they were the worst run club in the league. Disclaimer- This was merely an attempt to point out other clubs "similar" promblems and not in anyway a comparison to our problems or trying to create an excuse to those responsible for our problems
-
My main worry is that the LMA rumour is true and that Bevan, Keegan and Ashley are all at a meeting somewhere. If this is the case i fully expect us to hear; "Newcastle part company with Kevin Keegan by mutual consent".
-
One thing i will say is fair play to the club for actually "listening" to what KK has to say, which is clearly something they are doing. I hope a resolution can be found.

A wise man once said, "what do newcastle, sunderland and middlesbrough fans all have in common? They are all obssesed with Newcastle."
