Like I suggested in a post, he will sell all of our best players and use the money to repay his personal loans to the club. By the time we are relegated he will have recouped at least a 100 mil, reduced the wage bill by a massive amount and will sell the club for an amount which covers the balance of his investement. I was criticised for suggesting that relegation might be an attractive option to MA but I still stand by that. JFK has gone from spending 12mil to bringing in 4/5 players to 2 or 3 players then tonight.....'Finances are tight and we won't be rushed into signing anyone during the January transfer window' The writing is on the wall

I'ts at least 5 years since Lovenkrans was decent for Rangers, back in the days of Dick Advocat. Since then he has been on a steady decline. Probably trying to assemble our championship side

I've been thinking about this scenario for some weeks now and I just wonder. Ashley has the reputation of being a really hard headed ruthless buisness man who steamrollers his way through deals. Now, he has tried to sell the club and had he done so at his price of circa 4mil he could have stuck two fingers up to the geordie supporters saying 'I've made 200mil out of you lot'. Unfortunately for him that has not happened so he is left with the club. I just wonder if he is hard headed enough to run the club into the ground thinking 'I'll teach those geordie bastards not to tell me what to do' Okay, so he gets a 100mil less for the club but whats a 100mil to him. His Sports Direct have shown big increase in sales and profits despite the credit crunch, they also made £30mil on currency trading. It worries me that this man is self centred enough to do this and destroy our club for many years to come. If he comes up with big changes and big money this month then that may convince me otherwise but at the moment I don't see it happening

Maybe KK will go there?????
-
There is a possibility that Ashley has all the money he put into the club shown as preferential directors loans. He may just milk his money out and liquidate the club. I'm not sure we've seen the worst of this scenario yet

I spoke yesterday with a friend of mine who is the chairman of a premiership club. His interpretation of what has transpired is interesting. This man has had dealings with MA and describes him as someone, in my opinion, not to be trusted. He sees KKs resignation as a courageous move. He believes that KK loves and feels for the club and the fans and that he felt strongly that the direction of the club under Ashleys leadership was not good. He strongly believes that Keegan quit not through petulance as some have claimed but to expose Ashley and his plans. He said that he thought that this was Keegans way of trying to save the club. He said that in view of KKs financial position, i.e in need of money, it was a really courageous move on his part. With Ashleys Sports Direct empire suffering the way it is could cause a knock on effect to NUFC.

Problem is, Wise is so far up Ashleys arse you can only see the soles of his shoes, but if you were in his position, on £1mil a year you'd probably be happy to carry out the wishes of Mr Ashley
-
Yes it is, that was what he initially said his job was. Why in the hell it has spiralled into the current mess I fail to understand
-
Someone told me that Wise has brought in over 30 new players into the academy. Personally, I have never ever felt so pissed off with our club. I have supported them for best part of 60 years and for the first time ever I feel like I don't ever want to see them again. For this I blame Ashley alone, he is changing it from our club to his club. I know he owns it and can do what the hell he likes with it, and he will, but I just feel that something has been torn away from me.

exactly, and he can do this because he's such a good manager. if he was shit, would any of us give a fuck? would there be a 122 page thread on it in a day and a half? would anyone have been protesting outside the ground? (radgies or not). no, if he was crap the general consensus would have been, ok, next, and he'd be gone. its the fact that he's such a good manager, and that he's so right for nufc that he's able to stand up for his principles, and good on him i say. there's not enough people willing to put principles high on their list of importance these days, especially in football. And you are spot on pointing out that he is so right for the club. He is probably the only one in the board room who understands NUFC at all and if they have any brains they'll listen carefully to what he says
-
Keegan is in there with Asley fighting for what he believes is right for the club and the fans. If it was spitting dummies he would have gone. He is in there fighting for us because he cares about the club as much as we do.
-
Sacked for what? If anyone should be sacked it's that little shit Wise. A terrible appointment. Could you imagine him attracting players?
-
Sorry manorpark, I assumed you'd perhaps seen Jonas and Guthrie and Coloccini play for us, obviously you haven't
-
KK hoped for more players, so did MA and all the rest of them. Transfers can be difficult to conclude. Chelsea were signing the Brazilian guy but Man City got him. Has Scolari walked out? I think it's all a load of shite. KK & co are probably all in a meeting discussing what went right and what didn't. We've brought in 5 players and if the last 2 are as good as the previious 3 I'll be delighted. I'd rather have what we've got than lump £32 mil on one trophy signing like Man City have done.
-
How can he have a problem with his hamstring? He has never done anything to put a strain on it in all the years I've seen him.
-
I thougt Smith never put a foot wrong, his best game so far
-
Taylor is crap. He just lacks quality and composure. He makes quite a few last minute lunges at people and gets away with it quite often so some people think he's good. If he read the game better and intercepted more he wouldn't need to dive in so much. Where was he for the goal??? a last minute lunge which didn't come off
-
Pay up Ameobis contract and get him out, he's a liability, sell Smith for £3.50 if we can get it. Milner has now perfected his crossing of the ball and taking corners, hits the first defender EVERY time now. On a positive note, Guthrie was impressive and so was the new guy on the left, popped up all over the pitch, good on the ball and one hell of a work rate, looks strong too.
-
One of the best players ever for us, I was at Crystal Palace the day he was injured, no tackle involved, he just turned and then dropped to the ground in agony. No one anywhere near him.
-
Who would you rather play for, Man U or Real Madrid. Real is every players dream, they may not currently be the top team but in terms of the most attractive club, location, massive money and superstar status guaranteed there is no choice. Manchester is a shit hole, Ronaldo has proved his worth, reached as high as he could ever go with Man U so time to move on. Who's to say that Fergie/Glazers big bluff about he's going nowhere is just part of the plan to up the price
-
Mort always conducted himself in a professional manner and acted with dignity. Quite a contrast to his predecessor, good luck to the man
-
That Sap Blatter bloke or what ever they call him, (the fifa president or something) actually summed the situation up spot on. He wants a limit on foreigners in the EPL etc, because, "Most of the money comes from the Champions league, this year we had 4 English teams in the quater finals, 3 in the semi finals and now we have an all English final. All that is happening is that the rich are getting richer and making it impossible for other teams to break through" That is what Keegan is saying. Because of the success of the big 4 in the champions league they are getting more and more money pumped into them and so the gap widens even further. Without an Abramovich type throw 600mil at it no one will break into that top four. What was the Chelsea subs bench worth on Saturday? As much as our team I think or even squad. Until the playing field is levelled a bit it will only get worse. Ashley needs to understand that.
-
I'd be the first one to admit if I was wrong but I have never ever been wrong................... Apart from a couple of failed marriages Smith was a good signing. Butt was finished Owen was knackered Oba had no composure Viduka was crap Gerami was finished Sam would tiurn this club around........etc..etc..etc After following this club for 50 years you'd think I might learn something
-
23 shots at goal and 14 corners...whate a difference a KK makes
-
On a positive note, we have had more shots at goal today than SA could muster in the whole time he was here
