  1. If any of our players go to Palace they will be involved in successive relegations because Pardew will be true to form and take Palace down
  2. It's the 'full control' bit I like and that's what he wanted. He sees the potential in this club and knows what he can do with it. We've been crying out for something like this to happen ever since the John Hall days. It has happened because Ashley must have taken some serious batterings money wise through lousy decisions and appointments. He's a money man and he'll have said to Rafa (not in so many words) sort this fucking football club out so that it's making me loads of money because I don't know how to do it.
  3. His first game for us he was terrific, sprayed the ball around like Glenn Hoddle but after that I don't know what happened. I think he would rip teams to shreds in the championship so long as he had players working their nuts off around him
  4. I wonder how many of our great players have clauses in their contract where they can be sold for half price or whatever if we get relegated. Watching that performance yesterday I'd have said most of them. They played like they'd be happy to get relegated and get out of there. Cheap sell on price = bigger wages for them. Can't see many of these players shedding tears when we go down
  5. I think this will be the toughest of them all and I'm dreading it
  6. Tiote, Townsend, Anita, Lascelles, Dummet and Colbeck are totally different players under Rafa
  7. What an end to the season...........Pardew wins the FA cup with Palace and wins at St James Park to get Newcastle relegated. I am dreading it. I think if Pardew comes here and wins he won't get out of Newcastle alive
  8. Rafa puts more effort in from the touch line than some of the players were putting in on the pitch
  9. I hope that ManU don't come in for him. Whether or not he'd go there is another matter.
  10. What happened to that 50 year old striker McClaren brought in on loan during the last window?
  11. Did a great job there and deserves to acknowledge the fans. If every manager couldn't acknowledge the fans of a previous club it would be ludicrous considering how many clubs the manage over a short period. As far as I am concerned, I am so grateful for him coming here and the work he has done that he can do whatever he wishes
  12. I just hope that before he goes he sits down with Ashley and tells him everything that's wrong with this club and what needs to be done. Not that Ashley will listen but it will make Rafa feel better to get it off his chest, then he can sell the article to the press about Ashley's reaction
  13. With Rafa in albeit too late, this could be our last chance to go forwards as a club since the KK days. The relegation fight that we are in has been builfing for 5 years. If we go down, and I fear we will, then the chances of coming back up immediately will not be good. I fear that we could go the same way as Leeds under Ken Bates. Our fans do not deserve that but Ashley and co do. I have followed this club from being a 5 year old to now when I am 72. The feeling and the fear that I will never live to see my club performing as they should just destroys me. My brother who is nearly 80 rang me at 8.45am today just to talk about the fear of relegation and where we might end. Couldn't sleep because of the anxiety. THANK YOU MR ASHLEY
  14. Rafa has inherited a pile of shit and doesn't have the time to process them into a decent manure
  15. We stopped the mackems from getting 3 points, that's the main thing.............Work in progress??????
  16. I really think that Rafa wants us to stay up so that he can stay and get his real plans into motion. I just think that he already loves this club

    Steve McClaren

Daily Mail are Saying that Benitez has signed a 3 year deal
  18. He's going backwards like all the players who come here, dragged back by lousy management, systems and lack of motivation

    Steve McClaren

Talking about bringing in Moyes, another total failure

    Lee Charnley

No different from buying a shirt at M&S then 2 weeks later its half price in the sale.
  21. Could be like Freddy Shephers offer for Rooney knowing full well that he would be outbid
