Can't believe some of the reports saying that Amanda/PCP did not have the money to buy the club. I thought you had to show that funds were in place before due diligence began. I agree with earlier views i.e Ashley is not bothered about selling it because it supports his Sports Direct but he would accept a crazy (high) offer

Rafa knows we can't score that's why he sets us up the way he does, trying to ensure a clean sheet and hopefully nick a goal. Terrible really but that is all he's got to work with. Last season his 50/50 log passes were awesome and we miss that. Problem is that at this level his long passes would be 25/75 which means giving the ball away a lot more and of course you are more likely to get punished at this level. Rafa likes the possession game and doesn't like giving the ball away. Look what happened yesterday with Merino, one sloppy pass and the opposition score from it. I personally think that it's worth playing Shelvey because of his quality in passing and you just need to accept that everything he tries won't come off.

His defencive header from that CP corner could have saved the game for us and allowed us to get the three points. I think he is an intelligent player has good movement but lacks confidence. For Rafa's system to work really well you need a Torres, someone who can score goals out of nothing. I think when Amanda is finished with me she will address that problem
