    Ryan Taylor/Nolan

There's a reason Wigan were willing to let Ryan Taylor go so easily. That reason is that he isn't very good.
  2. N'Zogbia shouldn't be playing anywhere other than left wing and Duff shouldn't be anywhere other than the scrapheap. N'Zogbia shouldn't be playing anywhere other than left wing and Duff shouldn't be anywhere other than the scrapheap. You're right...but we don't really have many other options. Edgar just isn't good enough.
  3. Given Geremi Taylor Colo N'Zogbia Jonas Butt Guthrie Duff Owen Xisco would be nice
  4. If Ashley does sack him then he's never going to sit with the fans again....unless he wants to get mobbed.
  5. No one who's thinking at all rationally can put forward a case for Emre staying. He's a crock and always will be. He's got the talent, he may even have had the desire, but he's never fit for a sustained period of time so selling him makes complete sense.
  6. Wes Brown is under-rated by a lot of people on here. He's certainly good enough for us.
  7. I thought the title of the thread was REALISTIC Summer targets.

    Emre

Emre has to be gotten rid of in the summer providing we can find an able replacement. He's a good player, but far far too injury prone and that's something which isn't going to change.
  9. Why do you have such an intense dislike of Faye? Isn't he quite well known for being an open racist (Northern Monkey)? I thought it was just for generally spouting negative crap and trying to wind people up.
  10. it's good that Capapa is injured? pathetic Edgar? Taylor? Ramage? don't make me f****** laugh man Taylor is better than Cacapa Edgar is young and could use a chance to prove himself Ramage is fuckin s*** and don't think he'll get a game.. Edgar is better than Cacapa? You're funny. TAYLOR is better than Cacapa. If you say so. I wouldn't say there's a lot between them at the moment, although Taylor has much more potential.
  11. He looks decent at the moment, but he needs a least a season to be judged properly....new country, new team mates and all that...

  13. The reason we are conceding has nothing to do with the talent of the defenders but because of the pressure the midfield is putting them under. I agree that Faye is our best centre half but for me the choice is between having Cacapa or Butt on the pitch. I would choose Cacapa or Geremi over Butt. FAO Tachikoma, i wouldn't argue with your side either. This. Faye has got to play in midfield otherwise we just get dominated.
  14. Geremi at right back is a very good shout. I think we need Faye in midfield as that's where a lot of pressure is brought onto the defence. Something like this would be good I rekcon: Geremi Beye Cacapa/Taylor Enrique
  15. Actually geremi at right backs not a bad idea but still rather Harper Geremi Beye Taylor Enrique Milner Faye Duff Nzogbia Owen Martins Given Emre Carroll Barton Butt I can understand having Taylor in for Cacapa but why on earth would you play Duff in the centre??? He's been poor enough out wide in his natural position....
  16. Harper Geremi Beye Cacapa Enrique Milner Faye Emre N'Zogbia Martins Owen © Subs: Given, Taylor, Duff, Barton, Viduka
  17. If we want a consistent premier league striker then Darren Bent is a good shout...
  18. Yeah, he proved that at Bolton didn't he? Souness won things, means jack s*** doesn't it? Sam has performed CONSISTENTLY with Bolton and in the premier league. There's a difference. at the BOLTON,end of story idiot. You're calling me an idiot when you have referred to Bolton as "the BOLTON"? Wow, you're special to say the least. So you're trying to tell me it doesn't matter what he did at his last club? I do realise that they are different clubs but here's a small hint for you: Every club in the premier league is different. Idiot.
  19. Well, a manager's past performance and record could suggest how able they are to turn it round. But there's nothing concrete I admit. But their last year of managerial experience doesn't count if its bad. Oh dear, again putting words into my mouth. In his last year at Bolton he finished 7th. That's what's important, not his record in just 2007 But what's also important is how he's finished his last season, very badly. A good start to this season has seen us gain some very valuable points, only this time the wheels fell off early, he couldn't turn it round at Bolton in the final few months, and thats a good indication for me how he's going to fair here with 1000% more pressure on his back. I'll say this one last time and then I'm off. You claim it's important how he finished his last season but is it not more important where he finished in his last season? Yes it is, simple as that. And, he couldn't "turn it around" because Bolton had a small squad and not a great deal of strength in depth, which wasn't his fault considering the small budget he was given.

  22. I didn't say there was any concrete evicence, but he did manage to save Bolton from relegation a couple of times when they were first promoted to the premier league.
  23. Wow, you're such a comedian, now do you mind answering my question: What is there to be gained by sacking Sam? Because he's not got it in him to turn it around, and we might as well end it now than be lead further down the wrong path. If the board were serious about keeping him they'll be bringing in some decent players to help him out instead of leaving him to lose even more support from the fans every game. How the hell do you know that? There's no evidence at all to suggest it. mackems.gif mackems.gif mackems.gif Alright mate, you've got me, no evidence whatsoever SA is struggling and he won't turn it around. Jesus fuking christ man, give yourself a slap eh Sorry, did i say that? No i didn't. I said there is no evidence to suggest that he won't TURN IT AROUND.
