Being played out of position He's right footed, and prefers to play central midfield. Being played on the right doesn't give him an excuse to misplace a 5 yard pass as he did on many occassions at the start of last season. I do however think he was carrying an injury, as he got treatment in just about every game and never looked comfortable before finally admitting it was fucked and getting surgery. Just my opinion though.

Perch will be the back-up for Enrique assuming we get another centre half in (Sol?). The centre midfielder will be Gosling, which leaves a forward as a definite priority, whereas I think we'll get a winger in if it becomes a necessity (i.e. an injury). Vuckic may well end up us as our back-up left winger and we'll doubtless shove one of Guthrie/Barton/Gosling out onto the wing if necessary.
