  1. Diouf you horrible bastard, get in.
  2. Great start to the 2nd halves this
  3. Cardiff are so weird, they either win heavily or lose to someone shite.
  4. Sean Davis is at Bolton and crippled. AGAIN. No point.
  5. Most of the time Taylor's been around, he's had Butt in front of him. Not to mention Clark and Faye.
  6. Whilst I agree he wasn't always shite, the knives came out for him afer the Stoke game at St. James, and it didn't help that when West Ham beat us 3-1 Shearer ripped it out of him on MOTD.
  7. Made me laugh when Shola did that against Huddersfield, except it turned out he went off crippled, which is less cool.
  8. They do kick ins in the 6 a side league I'm in, problem is there's no rules on how far away the defender has to be from the line, so its nigh on impossible to keep possession. It's got to go under knee height so even if you take it back a couple of yards behind the line all you can do is drill it. Utter shit.
  9. He's been plagued with a persistent hamstring injury.
  10. Yes, his surname is also Hughton.

    Ray Stubbs

Aye what happened with half time then? Did someone replace him or what? Hope he makes a swift recovery
  12. As usual things turn out well for Spurs, had he gone they'd have only had Dawson and the 2 cripples, might have been interesting. Although the smart money would be on the Hutton/Anton Ferdinand swap happening this window, even though I think Anton is utter gash.
  13. Count me in please, don't mind which team as long as I'm not in the defence. Team player me from the off
  14. If Harewood doesn't start this I'll be amazed. He can't have many games left here, he joined on September 24th which means he'll leave here either just before or just after the Sheff Wed game, if he played Shola and he got injured then he can't bring in Harewood in a few games, Hughton may as well use the resources whilst he's got them, especially with 3 games coming up in 8 days.
  15. SSN quoted the rule before, not the same 11 but "the best 11." How they can legislate that I don't know.
  16. Wasn't really listening to that boring old cunt but I think he just said only 12 of them will be chosen as stadia
  17. Here we go then, the 15 are: London - Wembley Sunderland - SoL Birmingham - Villa Park Manchester - CoM Nottingham - New stadium London - Emirates Leeds - Elland Road Sheffield - Hillsbrough Newcastle/Gateshead - SJP (get in) Bristol - New Ashtonville Stadium London - New White Hart Lane or Olympic Stadium Plymouth - Home Park Manchester - Old Trafford Liverpool - Anfield or New Anfield Milton Keynes - Stadium MK
  18. Thinking about it, maybe Simpson was rested today so we could have a look at Ryan Taylor at right back in the event that we can't keep Simpson past January?
  19. Fair point, that would make sense but you know how picky some managers might be.
  20. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/middlesbrough/8257190.stm Not according to the BBC. 3 month loan on September 15th. So, on that basis, tomorrow is his last game of that 3 month spell? Edit: Indeed it is http://www.mfc.premiumtv.co.uk/articles/match-pack-city-in-town-20091212_70638_1902377 Cracking. Sure I read somewhere that said he wasn't going back and it was permanent. Not sure how that's going to work. Good player though so glad he won't play v us. Yeah glad he's out. At a guess Boro couldn't get a deal done in August and there was no point taking him on a 3 month loan at the start of September because of the 2 week international break. So they waited until the 15th to get the most of out of a 3 month loan, and he'll go back to being Preston's player until January 1st, then his permanent transfer to Boro will kick in. I doubt he'll play for Preston in those 15 days though.
