Why are people making transfers today? Surely you'd wait until Friday?

Man City are not too good.

Aye, we didn't contain them as well as we might, but they are a world class team of flair midfielders. Backed up by a solid backline and two monster CMs. With £50m of talent to bring off the bench. Rubbish. They won't win all their home games this season. They won't beat every team ranked below them in the league at home. Judging by your attitude and Pardew's, we'll never be one of those teams that can take points at these places. You go there expecting defeat, plan for it, play for it and get it. It's pathetic. The goals we conceded were pathetic. We're better than this and this 'oh but they spent so much money' is just a shit excuse for our rubbish performance.

Well the formula still says we're getting 69 points. -

Exactly. Liverpool have told all to fuck off and told Suarez that it's a god damn World Cup year so he better shut up and play or else. We've meekly surrendered and we're not even going to get a good price for him. We should have told Cabaye to fuck off and sit on the bench for a whole year, jeopardising his precious WC if he's that intent on leaving. -

You're kidding. Jonas is done; can't pass, can't dribble, can't run. Anita has pace and he can pass the ball. -

Should drop Sissoko into the center and play Marveaux ahead of him. How is Jonas anywhere near our first eleven, man? Ffs -

Fuck off Jonas. Anita should be in there. -

Fuck him. Cunt. -
Value is dependent on so many things, though: age, contract, performance/potential. You can't just use previous value as a basis for present value. I'm not saying I agree with Man Utd's price, this is just a general point on valuations.

I'm also sure that Levy prefers selling abroad than domestically so it's in Real's interests to make sure Levy continues feeling fine selling to them. If they burn bridges doing this, Barca/Bayern will be favourites for all your best players.

I'd say they don't want to screw you since they already took Modric last year and of course you are ripe for more pickings in the future (Vertonghen, Dembele etc). It probably pays to make sure you come out of this all right rather completely fucking you over and ruining whatever decent feelings may exist so they haven't announced anything and are giving you time to sign new players.
-
I would say that the Bale move is just dependent on whether you can get his replacements in or not. If you do, he'll go. If you don't, he stays. I think Madrid haven't announced anything as a gentleman's agreement so as not to fuck you in searching for replacements.

14 days, a lifetime. It ain't a lifetime for us because we need to find a replacement. They should have bid last year so we had enough time. -

Ten days to go and they start bidding. They're idiots and we'll be bigger idiots if we accept. -

Where's the 12m come from? -
When you think about it this way, it amounts to basically 5-8m a year, which is fair IMO. I'm not endorsing his commercial policy at all, but by not charging for interest, he's 'saving' the club close to 10m a year if you consider what the market interest is these years for corporate firms.

Deciding whether to wake up at 2am to watch this. On the one hand, fit Hatem, no Jonas and a full team. On the other hand, City away and Pardew's still here. Plus I have to stream this bitch because the new cable box isn't here yet. -
Four more years on his contract with the last year as an option, IIRC.
-
I hope tomorrow isn't going to be like this.

The middle of the pitch is still weak. Henderson isn't a starter. But yeah, Stoke are going to get hammered.

Jonas should not come near our first eleven. Same with Tiote. I'd rather Anita than Tiote at this point because at least he'll be able to keep the ball and move it on with some accuracy. We'll need to try to keep possession against City if we want to come away with anything. -
I like that a lot. Where have you got that on, bro?

Coutinho will be a star. Sturridge will score shit loads if he gets decent service, which he will if they Eriksen or Willian or any other attacking midfielder. If Suarez stays then they'll be in an even better position.
