enrique and barton want shooting for the defending for Johnsons goal, they had 2 on 1 just show him down the line and kept on his right foot and no danger whatsoever, everyone knows he's going to try and cut back on his left foot.
-
it was discussed a bit last night in the reserve thread
-
Good news that both him and Jonas have been left out the Argentina squad for the upcoming game. Argentina are playing a friendly away in Japan, we can do without them flying half way around the world.
-
yes Vuckic is signed uptill 2012 so he must've signed a 4 yr deal as well.
-
just reading on .com and they are saying that reports in France/Sochaux are that we've signed him on a 4 yr deal.
-
you'd think the club would announce a new player being signed, even if its just a youngster.
-
some lad on the bench called Yven Moyo, no idea where this lad has come from? maybe one for ObiChris to answer?
-
anyone heard any team news for the reserve game tonight?? i'm hoping the likes of Simpson and Guthrie will be getting a runout, give Campbell another 90 mins as well.
-
That's not a one size fits all though. Tiote was mopping everything up, and stopping a lot of their attacks from their source. It was a baffling decision to take him off. yes i know but who was more likely to pop up and get us a possible winner, Tiote or Nolan/Barton?? its not as if we were defending a point, we were trying to get 3.

hindsight is a wonderful thing, at the match yesterday i agreed with his subs at the time, for me it was a toss up between HBA and routledge and both were out the game and quiet at the time of the substitution(would've preferred routledge off tho) and in a home game when we were looking to win the game you don't need a defensive midfielder in the side.
-
Hmm. my thoughts exactly, if thats the case why not come out and say we are getting X amount per year from sports direct.

Krul will be OK, he'll be well protected. i have faith that Krul will be ok, its just a slight concern as Stoke's strength is pumping balls into the box.
-
I'm a big fan of young Krul but am slightly concerned about him for Sunday as his weakness is his decision making and coming out for crosses and that will be tested against a team who will test him with the crosses and long throws. However this is a game when we really need the 3 points, we already blew it against Blackpool after the the good results agaisnt Villa and Wolves and now we can't afford to slip up again after the great week we've had. Beating the likes of Blackpool and Stoke and the other bottom 12 sides at home are the key to us staying up.
-
Dave was that programme show much of our team our was it just focued on Man U, the brazilians and barca? its repeated again tonight so might try and catch it when i get in from work.
-
how strong was Villa's team tonight? i think they will be going for it and Birmingham but ideally we'll get a home tie against Northampton and if we get to the quarters then we should really go for it.
-
Chrissy Hughton football genius needs to be getting sung at the match tune of your gonna get your F*****g head kicked in.
-
too many people naming players who we nearly signed or were linked with, the likes of Schmiechel were never on trial.
-
just put a little £2 bet on everton, peterboro, spurs and motherwell to give me an interest in tonights games.
-
I'd be really interested to see the prozone distance covered stats of our team like. i'm sure i saw something last season that he was the player who covered the most distance per match for NUFC. anyway there is a old football saying of you are only as good as your last game, Nolan was very good in his last game.

yes but we'd be screwed if he pulls a hamstring and is out for 6 weeks! -

think its more important to get 3 points against Stoke so i wouldn't have the the likes of Jose, Colo, Tiote, Ben Arfa and Carroll playing. -
looks like he's going to be a cracking player for, normally i like to wait 8-10 games before judging but looks brilliant on first viewing.
-
in a roundabout way that side could be better suited than putting Tiote and ben Arfa in, Everton away is a reall tough place and Everton are the kind of team who play at a really high tempo and get stuck in, don't think its the best place for someone not used to English football to have there debut. In saying that i would take the gamble and drop Smith and Jonas for Tiote and Ben Arfa.

he looks like he's going to be a very good player.
