There have been several "horror tackles" put in by our players. The last one that I remember keeping a player out for a long time was Kevin Nolan (I think Anichebe was injured for a while).

Yeah, doesn't like the changes to the terms of services last December. -
QPR are still four points off safety as they were before the match.

The mail complaining about people vilifying foreigners?

There's a great vid on the middlebrough forum of Sammy mugging Bellamy off with a trick ... then tripping over himself. Sounds like he had a great debut though.

http://imgur.com/jWGsscB.jpg Love their physical expression , Taylor's on in particular Loved that kit. Also loved that string of games last season. Would go into each game knowing there was a great chance we would win. And then we played the mighty Wigan. -
Nail your colours to the mast - where will we finish?
healthyaddiction replied to Dave's topic in Football
I think 10th is the best we can finish. If we manage to beat Swansea this week then maybe 9th. I think we will finish 10th though. -
It's ridiculous because the ref has seen it. How can he see that and not think it's a red?
-
Nzonzi should have been sent off.
-
ooh Nzonzi's nose. That's got to be painful. edit: oh apparently that's just his nose and it's not broken.

I think the second was more a Taylor error. The first was a poor challenge to give away a freekick but he also did a lot of good in the game.

Despite my post above btw I would prefer us to sign Ince myself as I think he does look like a real talent and plays in that wide forward role where I think we really need some quality.
-
Same outlay? I'd be fuming if we spent that on Ince. Thankfully we wouldn't anyway. Why? You'd be fuming if we spent it on Ince but not on PEA? I wouldn't be bothered at all. Ince is clearly miles better than his division suggests. Sometimes you have to pay going rate Well for a start, Ince can't play up front which is what we need so somebody else would need to follow him in. He's a good player but I wouldn't want to be paying much more than £4m for him though. As for the going rate, it's fine paying it when it's justified. Not many people would bat an eyelid if we spent ~£10m on a versatile front man like PEA or an established striker like van Wolfswinkel. If we spent that money on Ince there would be a lot of queries surrounding the fee, just as has happened with the Zaha transfer. 4m? You'd be lucky to get a player that good for that price. Why is it okay with Van Wolfswinkle, he's not established? He could come here and be absolutely awful? I think if we could get ince for 7/8m it would be a great piece of business. I guarantee he will be worth a lot more in the future How can you say Van Wolfswinkel is not established, especially in a comparison to Ince. He has several seasons of top flight football behind him with a 1 in 2 ratio. He's clearly established.

I presume this lad can play as a wide forward?
-
Krul Debuchy Thuram Moore Maldini Davids Yaya Toure Messi Cabaye Bellamy Cole Good team but I'm not sure about Carlton Cole up front.
-
Just seen he was at Lille for a season a few years ago. Send Agent Cabaye in.

I like the comment "marveux is a poor mans Aaron Lennon, more suited to be a sprinter." I mean, I don't even know where to start.

You could put Marveux there and have either Jonas, Bigi or Perch in midfield. -
