So I was talking bollocks. I think that Arsenal could do well with a couple of signings. I like Cazorla and Podolski (find it odd some people getting on his back already in the media),I think Giroud is a risk but I think Gervinho will improve this season. If they sign a couple of good midfielders and Wilshere comes back soon they'll do well. Not sure I like either of their left backs though.

McLeish did stupidly poorly, not just the style of football but Villa could have been relegated. They had less points than Birmingham did when they were relegated. The man is a train wreck of a manager. I think that Lambert has a big job this season because I think it is fair to say that Villa have a weak squad but i'd put money on Lambert picking up more points and with a better brand of football.
