  1. Absolutely not No. Wasn't convinced from the start but would love to be proved wrong.
  2. I'm pretty sure we already know the outcome.
  3. From the Chronic: Club sources insist neither is in the running for the permanent position and maintain that, while the search for Benitez’s successor is on-going, the Magpies are hopeful it will be completed before the 2019/20 Premier League season kicks off. After the transfer window then.
  4. With no time to appoint or spend. Convenient that.
  5. Me too. No thank you to Sports Direct United.
  6. If Ashley makes £50m from an academy product he might even stump up for a new tin of paint for the walls.
  7. Better I guess but still don't care: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/07/05/newcastle-consideringquique-sanchez-flores-rafael-benitez-replacement/
  8. £50m? https://mobile.twitter.com/UtdRobert/status/1147213536780832769 Glad we’re not being a soft touch....if true. Redfearn or Sherwood won't see much of it though. Straight to Jabba's bank account.
  9. Sorry - more than £50m: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/11757612/manchester-united-preparing-bid-for-sean-longstaff-from-newcastle
  10. £50m? https://mobile.twitter.com/UtdRobert/status/1147213536780832769
  11. Whoever called Redfearn might well be right:
  12. Without being melodramatic, it always seems to be bad news.
  13. Looks like a boiled egg: https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-search-manager-lee-charnley-16539902
  14. Utter shitebag. Only decent games were against us. Has an appalling scoring record and a worse celebration. Sign him up.
  15. Could see that. He's from that area and they'll make another massive profit. Ker-ching.
  16. He might get a chance under the new Yes man.
  17. "Keeping our powder dry"....
  18. Does anyone remember a worse pre-season? I can't.
  19. Interesting. A mate of mine knows him and his family very well through the cricket, and he was saying he wanted to stay. That all could have changed in the last week of course. He'll be off too and who can blame him. There have been many to choose from but I'd argue this is our worst pre-season ever. We are so going down.
  20. Good luck Ayoze. You are in a much better place. Hope he gets a good reception.
  21. Who would be interested?
